Cheap but....
This is one the cheapest places to stay in Saas-Fee and, of course, you get what you pay for. But the Walser is a very basic annexe of the Hotel Tenne where you check in. The room was old but clean and reasonably well appointed. But there is a derelict air about the rest of the place. Don't be fooled by pictures here and elsewhere of a comfortable lounge etc. The public room - which was once a bar and breakfast room - is a bit of a dump and looks completely neglected. There is a free wi-fi - obtained through the most old-fashioned code machine - but it's a weak signal and not much use for anything. Handy for the bus terminal, shops and bars but quite a hike to the lifts. The ski storage close to the Alpin Express lift is handy. Whether this is a good value option is a matter of opinion but not certain I will be returning.

Es war wunderbar, die Lage ist Perfekt. Aseer ein paar nachtschärmer, welche tratschen auf der Strasse ist es sehr ruhig. Preis Leistung tip top,da kann man nicht meckern. Das Frühstück absolut zu empfehlen.

Perfect hotel for our long weekend
Fantastic service from Richard as our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 3am!! He put our room key safe for us to find and even sent me a photo of where to find it!! Would stay there or Hotel Tennne again as they served the best waffles in their sister hotel!

Gemütliches Hostel
klein aber fein :) Das Hostel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir können es mit gutem gewissen weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist Perfekt, vom Hostel aus ist alles gut zu erreichen( einkaufsmöglichkeiten, skilift, restaurants, bars) Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer (301) mit einem grossen Balkon, auf dem wir sogar nach dem Skifahren noch Sonne hatten. Das Zimmer ist mit allem nötigen ausgestatet, klein aber fein:) Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr gründlich geputzt. Das Reinigungspersonal, sowie der Herr vom Check in und check out waren herzlich und freundlich:) Wir hatten eine tolle Woche :)

All you need.
Good location close to several restaurants and next to a supermarket. Close to the bus station - easy to get the bus to the Alpin Express. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and was excellent value.

Hatten einen guten Aufenthalt im Hotel. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Dorf Saas Fee. Das Skigebiet ist zu Fuss schnell erreichbar.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Hostel Walser sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber es hat alles was es braucht. Dusche/WC im Zimmer, TV und kostenloses WLAN. Die Zimmer wurden ebenfalls gereingt, jedoch nicht täglich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, es hat auch Handtücher und Shampoo dabei. Es hat sogar einen eigenen Skikeller neben der Alallin Bahn, so muss man die Skis nicht immer durch das Dorf transportieren. Der Busbahnhof und das Parking sind in der Nähe, das Hostel ist sehr zentral.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Da sich in der unmittelbaren Umgebung einige Ausgangsmöglichkeiten befinden war die Nachtruhe nicht ganz ungestört. Das ist aber auch der einzige kleine Negativpunkt. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Ich werde diese sicher wieder buchen!

We ended up staying at the main hotel (hotel Tenne) because it was low season and the hostel Walser wasn't open at the time. Hotel Tenne was older, however, it was comfortable and the bathroom was bigger. I would stay there again given the price point compared to many other places.

Positiv überrascht, teilweise renoviertes Zimmer mit grossem TV. Sehr sauber. Reception beim Hotel Tenne, 100m weiter hinten. Alles einwandfrei, einzig etwas kalt.

Für eine Nacht war das Hotel o.k. Die Rezeption im Hotel Tenne war sehr freundlich. Wir haben die Veranstaltung "nostalgische Genussmeile" besucht, und dafür war das Hotel genau richtig. Leider war der Badezimmerboden und die Bettwäsche nicht sauber. Lag vielleicht an dem grossen Aufwand das für dieses Fest betrieben werden musste.

Ca va bien pour une nuit...
Les salles de bain nécessitent une misa à jour. Il n'existe presque plus d'établissements ou l'on paye la connexion internet, surtout pas dans des 3*. Petites erreurs de la part du personnel... qui est tout de même sympathique et serviable. Ca va bien pour une nuit, le prix est élevé par rapport à l'ancienneté de la structure.

Das Walser ist ein Hotel für den klein(eren) Geldbeutel mit sehr freundlichem Service. Es kann nachts laut werden, wenn in der Hauptstrasse das Nachtleben tobt.
