While we can acknowledge how alarming this may have been, it is impossible for us to correct an issue when we are not informed of it when it is discovered. Had you immediately reached out to the front desk rather than telling us after check out, we would have been more than happy to replace the mattress pad cover, or even upgraded you. Furthermore, it was determined to be a coffee stain, and we did dispose of the cover once we were made aware.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree, we have a fantastic location here in the Historic District! While cleanliness is our top priority, we do take our impact on the environment very seriously, hence the reduction of daily housekeeping service to once every three nights. Guests are always welcome to request service, or at the very least a refresh to remove excess trash, soiled towels, replenish coffee, etc. We do also inform our guests upon arrival, as well as placing written notices at the front desk and in the guest rooms. We hope you’ll have a chance to come back soon.

Tami, I sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. While we would ideally always be able to upgrade guests for their special occasions, it simply isn't always possible to do so without an upgrade fee. If there were issues with your room we would have been more than happy to address them had the front desk been informed. We do also notify guests upon arrival that we do not perform daily housekeeping, but should you require additional amenities we will gladly bring them to you. You stayed for two nights and did not have hot water? We do show the boilers went down on Sunday morning for a bit, but did come back online for the remainder of your stay. Glad you enjoyed your stay with the exception of Sunday morning.

As far as the required deposit, our policy is disclosed in the important information section which you can read BEFORE you make a reservation. It's also disclosed immediately after booking with a booking message, and again at check in. We do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
