Great clean hotel. Sacramento has cleaned up the area in the last year and it is a great walk from old Sacramento along the river to the hotel. Great pool and an amazing Mexican restaurant next door.

There was no pool towels and the pool was not clean. We ended up cleaning the pool ourselves. Husband went and asked about pool towels and none were ever brought out to pool area, they were instead put into our room without us in there. Miscommunication issues. Breakfast was good though

Pictures show a nice place. But not only is it nothing like the pictures. It also is not very safe. I stayed with my young son and we got put off to the side in the back. Which isn’t very safe for a woman and child. Not to mention I got woken up at 2 am with pounding at the door next to mine sounding like someone was trying to break into the room. It was very scary and very uncomfortable. The only thing that I liked was the breakfast which was decent for the place.

We checked in late on a Friday night. We discovered that the floors were visibly dirty and sticky. Saturday morning we requested the floors get a quick cleaning. Someone came and made the bed, but clearly did not attempt the floors. All of our socks were black by the end of the weekend

We were on a road trip headed North & this property was at a perfect location right off I-5. We were given a room towards the back side of the property. As i walked towards an isolated back side of the property to our room, it was a dark, isolated back side of the buildings, a couple of homeless folks were hanging out right by the door of the rooms. I immediately went back to the front desk & Selena- a beautiful, personable, professional young lady immediately moved us to a nice room at the front area, & we parked our car right out front. A nice gesture that turned our stay to a more comfortable one.

The property is extremely outdated and a bit rundown. It wouldn't take much to just clean the outside, repair the brick work that is damaged and broke throughout, clean the trash around the property and do a little landscaping work. Our room floor was very dirty so we wore our sandals continually. The morning breakfast was nice and convenient. The juice was watered down so not good. Probably shouldn't offer it if cutting corners. The staff was very nice and helpful. They were quick to replace batteries in the air conditioner's control unit, brought fresh towels when we needed them and just overall very engaging with us.

The bed was comfortable, the room was good size, BUT, I was surprised to see a two-story building had NO ELEVATORS. People with large luggage have to carry them to the second floor, which is quite inconvenient.. In addition, there was no fan in the shower/bathroom area.
