Once you drive past the boarded up rundown Dennys, garbage all the way down the very bad pothole street and the homeless. Then it’s ok for the price.

The room on check-in hadn’t been cleaned. Front desk gave another room and it was clean but water pressure was bad one lamp wasn’t even plugged in. Found cockroaches in the bathroom and main area in the room. Could hear everyone on the floor coming and going and could hear most of the bottom and top floor as they walked around.

Clean Room, but Safety Concerns and Disappointing Amenities The room itself was clean and in good condition, but the overall environment of the property was a major concern. There were people throughout the parking lot who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, which made checking in, checking out, and being at the property feel unsafe and uncomfortable. There was also a lot of smoking under the stairwell. The corridors smelled of smoke, and the odor seeped into the room, making it uncomfortable indoors as well. The advertised amenities fell well short of expectations. The pool was closed during my stay, and breakfast consisted only of coffee and prepackaged cookies and muffins. Advertising a pool that was unavailable and describing such limited offerings as breakfast felt misleading.

You could tell that they had upgraded the rooms and carpeting in hallways, the maintenance guy was painting some areas on the walls. But the property and parking lot were really scarey. We had to walk the dogs & wouldn't go out alone to do it. Some pretty sketchy people were staying there or hanging out outside.

I have stayed here a few times and the area around this hotel has gotten worse over time. Not the hotel’s fault but there were unhoused people and junkies all over the parking lot, security was cool and necessary. The room was good and the beds were okay just a little firm. Breakfast was good and fresh. I would recommend checking property out first before booking a room…
