  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Quiet, comfortable, beautiful scenery

This is a beautiful home, with lots of space and well located in the countryside. We spent our days horseback riding and kayaking and relaxing by the pool, with one day trip to see the Roman theater in Orange and visit a winery. The house itself is in excellent condition, with two complete kitchens, one inside and one outside. We only used the outdoor kitchen, well stocked for cooking and comfortable for eating, even on chilly and rainy evenings. Make sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitoes!

Beautiful house

PositivesGorgeous house. An old building, lots of character & plenty of space. Enough room to tuck yourself away if you want your own space. Beautifully furnished & all the kitchen equipment you could possibly want.The hosts are friendly & pleasant.Lovely pool.Very peaceful & quiet there.Negatives - for usOur weather was really hot, around 36. Air conditioning works great in living areas, but does not reach so well to the bedrooms. Especially if you want to shut doors for privacy. There are fans which can be used in bedrooms, but no air conditioning directly in the bedrooms.The house is attached to the hosts' house. Totally separated off, with it's own gated courtyard area, so you have complete privacy within this, but the pool, table tennis & petanque are all basically through your courtyard gates, in the hosts' garden. Not far,100m or so maybe, but personally, from the description, I had pictured them more integral to the rental property, rather than actually quite separate & part of the hosts' property. Although the hosts were not using the pool much at all while we were there, you do not have sole use of it.You cannot wear sun cream while in the pool, which does limit enjoyment of it, easy to burn on shoulders etc. Wifi was poor. Only worked out in courtyard & cut out a lot, very frequently. Not practical for working, especially with heat & insects outside.No hot tub, despite this being listed in amenities. But it was too hot to want one while we were there!

Das alte Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und dank der Klimaanlage angenehm kühl. Leider fehlt ein Mückenschutz an den Fenstern. Es gibt aber über den meisten Betten ein Mückennetz. Am besten ist der schattige Hof mit der super ausgestatteten Außenküche, dort haben wir uns eigentlich die meiste Zeit aufgehalten. Der Pool und Garten ist auch wunderbar. Die Eigentümer wohnen im Anbau und waren sehr freundlich und bei Fragen immer ansprechbar. Super ist auch die Badestelle am Fluss 10 min. vom Haus entfernt. Für größere Gruppen mit 12 Personen, können wir das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Tout simplement super

Comme chaque année avec ma famille on se retrouve pendant l’Ascension pour passer quelques jours ensemble. La maison est grande, propre et très agréable. Le mieux c’est l’extérieur : chaleureux et spacieux. Nous avons également pu profiter du terrain de pétanque et de la piscine, tout était parfait. Merci encore !

Très bien

seul bémol la météo mais là nos hôtes ni pouvaient rien sinon je pense qu'ils auraient oeuvré. Location à recommander, charmant, atypique, calme et très bien équipé.. Même à 12 on ne se marche pas sur les pieds. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille.

Superbe demeure

Des vacances reposantes dans un superbe endroit pour deux familles au complet : des petits des ados, des adultes Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins : supers conseils , gentillesse … Piscine très agréable propre avec de nombreux transats et des coins à l ombre ;) , terrain de boules, ping-pong… bref de quoi s occuper sans parler des nombreuses visites ! Maison atypique avec plein de recoin et une jolie déco ;) Bref n’hésitez plus un des meilleurs gîtes que nous ayons fait ! Au soleil :)))

Parfait pour une semaine en famille

Un grand merci à Nathalie et Bernard pour leur accueil chaleureux et leurs bons conseils (+ les légumes du jardin ;) ! La maison était parfaite pour notre famille de 10 personnes. Emplacement en pleine nature tout en étant proche de la ville et des spots de baignade en rivière. De grands espaces intérieurs climatisés et surtout une cour très agréable avec cuisine extérieure où nous avons passé tout notre temps. La maison est très bien équipée, rien ne manque. Cerise sur le gateau: salle de massage indépendante dans la propriété où Elsa se déplace sur demande pour vous relaxer. Un sans faute pour notre premier séjour en Ardèche !

Heerlijke vakantie in de natuur

Hartelijke ontvangst door Nathalie en Bernard. Ruime woning met alle voorzieningen. Heerlijk ook dat er airco aanwezig was in het huis met tevens in sommige kamers een waaier en overal boven de bedden klamboes. Enorm veel ruimte om het huis, heerlijk zwembad met genoeg ligstoelen. Locatie is heel gunstig t.o.v. wandelingen, andere dorpen, kanoën en winkels. Enige minpunt waren de vele muggen die ervoor zorgde dat we weinig gebruik hebben gemaakt van de buiten keuken. Daar konden de eigenaren natuurlijk niets aan doen.

Séjour convivial et proche de la nature entre amis

Nous avons loué la maison d'auriolles pour trois nuits entre amis ( 7 adultes et 5 enfants de 4 à 11ans ). Nous y avons apprécié cette grande maison avec de beaux espaces conviviaux tels que le salon , la cuisine, la salle à manger avec sa grande table. La maison est atypique, avec ses coins , passages et recoins. La décoration témoigne d'un long vécu et de belles histoires et nous aimons ça. Les propriétaires habitent juste à côté et sont toujours disponibles et agréables. Merci!

Perfekt für 8-10 Leute für einen ruhigen entspannten Urlaub. Umgeben von Wein und Oliven findet man hier Platz, Ruhe, Erholung und besten Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Natur. Hinter jeder Ecke verbirgt sich Charme und Charakter. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Allein die Außenküche und mehrere Balkons geben größeren Gruppen auch ruhige Orte

une semaine en Ardèche dans une dans la quiétude et le charme d'une demeure accueillante

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances dans cette maison du 17eme siècle remise au goût du jour et décorée avec originalité avec des objets d'ici et d'ailleurs.A noter l'installation d'une cuisine extérieure dotée de tous les appareils (réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle,plancha...) , lieu de vie principale en été . N'oublions pas de parler de nos hôtes, Nathalie et Bernard, très chaleureux , toujours à notre disposition. La région est très fréquentée en été , mais lorsque vous revenez d'une randonnée ou visite des magnifiques villages médiévaux , vous êtes au calme , entourés d'une végétation luxuriante et un immense espace. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

Excellent séjour

La maison et ses extérieurs sont très spacieux et agréables. La déco style "chineur" est de très bon goût. Les 2 climatiseurs peinaient quelque peu à rafraîchir toutes les chambres, mais avec des températures extérieures dépassant les 35°. Les lits sont confortables (à condition de ne pas trop dépasser les 1m80). L'équipement électroménager est largement suffisant, à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. Il en est de même pour le mobilier, avec un bémol pour le salon de jardin qui aurait mérité sa retraite. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et nous avons pu profiter des conseils éclairés de Bernard pour nos ballades à pied, à vélo et en canoë. Nous avons pu également découvrir la faune locale: rat fruitier et mini-scorpions (inoffensifs).

Une semaine au top !

Nous venons de passer une semaine dans cette magnifique maison, nous étions deux familles, 9 personnes en tout. La maison est idéalement configurée (et il y a la climatisation !), chaque famille avait son étage avec salle de bain et WC. Pour les personnes qui aiment cuisiner, la maison est par ailleurs très bien équipée! La cour intérieure avec la cuisine d'été est idéale pour partager les repas et les apéros. Un jardin magnifiquement arboré et une piscine bien agréable pour se retrouver en fin de journée après les activités. Les propriétaires, discrets, sont très agréables et disponibles, nous les remercions encore pour leur gentillesse et les nombreux conseils bien avisés pour les activités et les randonnées. La maison est située dans le petit village de Saint Alban Auriolles où vous trouverez une boulangerie, une supérette et le petit marché du lundi matin😊 tous les lieux d'intérêt sont situés à moins de 20 minutes en voiture et il y a de quoi faire! Nous avons passé une très belle semaine et nous espérons pouvoir revenir prochainement.

Agréable semaine

Le gite est très bien situé, à quelques minutes des activités ( Ardèche, canoé, accrobranche, villages pittoresques, grotte Chauvet ...). Le village est accessible à pied ou à vélo, Ruoms à 10 minutes en voiture pour les courses plus conséquentes. Le gite dispose d'un espace aménagé qui permet de vivre dehors. La maison climatisée sur 2 étages est très appréciable pour réserver un étage aux ados :).Merci à Nathalie et Bernard pour leur présence discrète et efficace, leurs bons conseils ( ne faites pas l'impasse sur les massages d'Elsa!).
