Bedrooms and bathrooms warmly renovated, new bedding, beautiful south facing garden, another garden on the waterfront, terrace - protected garden area, south-west facing. Catering on request. We will consider any request for reservation of short stay or weekend.

Fantastic Property

A beautiful house, with many interesting features. A very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and on the beach. Two patio/deck areas, one particularly good for dining with huge umbrella and great barbecue. Particularly suitable for us, who as Canadians had a particular connection to Juno beach. A great home in a beautiful part of France. All aspects of booking, staying and departing were hassle-free.

J’ai réservé cette maison pour un anniversaire et tout était parfait. Le lieu, les couchages, la déco. Nous avons eu de la chance car nous avons eu du beau temps et nous avons pu profiter de la vue magnifique sur la mer le lendemain. Merci :)

Nous avons passé un exellent week-end à 14 adultes dans cette maison.Impossible de dire ce qu'il nous a manqué, tout y est.Cette charmante habitation est très bien placée, agencée,tout les lits confortables et la propriétaire très agréable et bienveillante,ne changez rien.Nous avons fait du longe-côte a l'école de voile toute proche,exellente découverte.Je recommande vivement le tout.

Prima locatie

Het huis ligt op een mooie locatie direct aan het strand. Er is een voor-en achtertuin die redelijk goed onderhouden is. Echter een deel van het tuinmeubilair was kapot. Ook zat er een gat in de vlonder. Dit werd tijdens ons verblijf hersteld. De netheid van het huis laat te wensen over. Veel spinnenwebben, vieze ramen, badkamers/toiletten ook niet heel schoon. Lampen die het niet deden. De poetsdoeken lagen nog in het huis. Ook was de barbecue zodanig vies dat we deze niet konden gebruiken. De keuken is goed uitgerust. De aankomstinformatie ontvingen we heel erg laat. Aankomst op zondag. Zaterdagmiddag ontvingen we pas de informatie over de aankomst, nadat we zelf een bericht hierover gestuurd hadden. Door de late berichtgeving maakten we ons zorgen of we wel in het huis kwamen. De gegevens die we ontvingen van vrbo van de eigenaar kloppen niet meer. De eigenaar van het huis is overleden. De zaken worden waargenomen door HB conciergerie. Ook kregen we tijdens onze reis op zondag te horen dat de aankomst van 16 uur niet haalbaar was omdat ze nog aan het poetsen waren. Op dit moment zou ik dit huis niet aanbevelen. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding kloppen niet. Het huis is te duur voor de kwaliteit die je ervoor terugkrijgt. Het huis heeft wel potentie. Het heeft onderhoud en een goede poetsbeurt nodig. De locatie is prima.

A home from home in Normandy

We have just returned from an excellent fortnight at Les Sables de Malte and in short it was definitely a 5-star experience. Before we even arrived we felt that it was going to be good because the communication with the owner - Valerie Debelle - was excellent even though my grasp of the French language is poor. Mme Debelle made up for this with excellent English. On arrival the communication and welcome were again excellent since M. Langlais' English was far superior to my French. He gave us a very good tour of, and introduction to the house. We felt very comfortable and instantly at home. The house is very well stocked with plates of all sizes, other crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking pans, and other implements. There was nothing we needed that was not there. We had booked the house for its ability to cater for up to 14 persons and members of the family came and went at different times due to work commitments. The maximum we had at any time was 10 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for everybody. The location of the house is amazing sitting as it does alongside the no-cars promenade with the beach (Juno beach) on the other side. Saint Aubin is a small town and within a short walk there are a boulangerie, a boucherie, a small supermarket and very many restaurants / take aways. The 3 children (boys aged 7, 6, and 3) loved the sandy beach and playing in the sea. They also loved riding their bikes along the promenade. The promenade was also very useful for the early morning runners in the family who could do 8 km and more runs without worrying about traffic. When we were not eating out or having take aways, self catering was easy, either on the charcoal BBQ or in the ample oven. Eating could be at a large outside table or an equally large inside table. We took advantage of the linen and towel hire at the very reasonable price of €14 per person. This meant that we did not return home with a large amount of washing to do. In fact because of the presence of a very efficient washing machine, we returned home with the minimum amount of washing to do. All in all, the house is an excellent location for a big family get-together or for a group of friends and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting such a property. Thank you M. and Mme. Debelle for allowing us to stay in your fabulous house.
