"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. We offered him our credit card but he asked for cash and it wasn’t till the next morning I discovered that we had indeed pre-paid. The...

"Stayed here for just under three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Annick was a kind and courteous host who even provided a few goodies to get us started as we arrived late on a Sunday after most shops where closed. Rance itself is within walking distance but doesn't have much to offer. A car is pretty much essential to get around and explore the countryside. "Very nice hotel and lovely, quiet room. All very modern and clean. Beds are big and comfortable. Free bottle of water in the room, but no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. We did receive a voucher for a coffee/tea from the bar downstairs, which was a nice alternative. It was a proper coffee from a barista machine! There’s a large hotel car park with plenty of parking. We did not eat breakfast, but it looked nice and plentiful. Great hotel and stay!"

"We had an excellent time at B&B Hotel Mons. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. However, the best part of the stay was the customer service. Most notably, Theo, who greeted us at the front desk on both of our visits (we had two nights booked in separated by a night elsewhere). He was warm, genuine, friendly and even provided my partner an opportunity to practice her french. Theo also celebrated our engagement with excitement and glee and made us feel welcoming throughout. I am not sure if there is any reward for a good review. But Theo deserves commendation for his excellent customer service. We plan to return down the line and hope to be greeted with him then too."
