「At first I was put off by a self-check in system that takes your ID to verify, but after looking at other reviews my mind was put at ease. PROS: Location, decor, quiet, free breakfast (we noticed pastries and bread were available throughout the day as well), easy check in (there is a clearly marked sign out front that we missed, but that was user error. 「La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". La maison est vaste et propre avec de nombreuses chambres. Les équipements intérieurs sont suffisants et adaptés. Le jardin est un poil petit et mériterait quelques équipements...

「Well appointed property perfectly suited to our large family group. Charming host, tennis court, swimming pool, boules, pool table, etc provided activities for everyone. Property within easy reach of pretty Chateaudun with its chateau, supermarkets and canoe hire.More information about disposal of rubbish and a few extra towels would have been helpful. Expected camp cot was not there but host made provision at short notice. A very, very happy stay which everyone enjoyed.」

「Very welcoming host who was always available for help or advice if needed, but left us to enjoy the property by ourselves. The kitchen is really well supplied! Several reviews mention this, and it’s true. Also plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery which isn’t always the case. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Locally, we probably weren’t very adventurous with restaurants etc, but we did use the excellent nearby tram service into Orléans. It’s affordable and runs every 20 mins....
