"We had a wonderful stay here. Sharon and Grégoire are passionate hosts with a sense of beauty. Thanks to the summer weather, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the garden. The food options are also highly recommended. The location is rather remote, but suitable as a base for excursions to Dijon, the Abbaye de Fontenay, or the MuseoParc Alésia."

Le logement est propre et très bien équipé avec de l'électroménager de qualité, ce qui est assez rare de nos jours dans les logements. Nous avons passé une agréable soirée, le braséro dehors en hiver est vraiment très agréable. La salle de jeux est très bien équipée. Je recommande ce logement."

"This is a wonderful place for a celebration being so close to Champagne .... thank you for making Fannie's 50th birthday celebration so special. The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. Each room is lovely with its own period furniture and features and everything worked as expected. Nathalie was on hand to give us any assistance we needed throughout the holiday and speaks excellent English. Nice to have...

The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"Super accueil plein d’attentions. La location est très calme, le village aussi, même en pleine saison estivale,de jour comme de nuit (on peut dormir au calme avec les fenêtres ouvertes !) Le jardin (à quelques metres du gite) est très agréable, nous y avons petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner à chaque fois que nous étions là. "The Auberge de l’Abbatiale is a wonderful small family run hotel with excellent accommodation in a historic and very interesting building. Very friendly owner and staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Thoroughly recommended as a stop off point while travelling through France as it is located in a picturesque historic village fairly close to an exit on the A31 (13 km away). Half way between Calais and the south of France."

"Property is quite beautiful in a shabby chic kind of way, although the ground is relatively small. Food is decent, but nothing too memorable. We didn’t realise it has a Michelin star, so decided to pay the premium as we didn’t want to go out after a long drive from Calais. Restaurant service was not great to be honest, we had to keep asking for our wine glass to be replenished, even though they didn’t seem to be short of staff. "
