Disappointed
The whole experience was disappointing. Its pretty much self service which doesnt match with what i would expect for the price. The chateau and room was beautiful but unfortunately that was the only good point. The four poster bed looked great, but every slight movement the bed creaked and made noise. We didnt sleep at all. The room was poorly thought out as there was no fridge or any wine glasses (strange as its a wine chatuea). Also the wine shop was closed at 11am which is check out time. It closed as we walked out the front door. WIFI was terrible and the breakfast was self service and very limited. No one asked if we wanted coffee and as someone who is gluten free the choice was limited. Overall the experience was poor and noy very good value for money.

Hébergement original idéalement situé pour un séjour à Saint Emilion. Cependant, cette propriété mériterait quelques améliorations. L’accueil est inexistant et l’intendante est relativement invisible. De plus, lors de notre séjour, les chambres étaient infestées de moustiques et nous n’avons pas fermé l’oeil de la nuit. La visite de la cave incluse est appréciable

Nous regrettons sincèrement votre ressenti vis-à-vis de l’accueil et du service. Le château Fombrauge n’est pas un hôtel mais bien une chambre d’hôte et de ce fait il est vrai que les services proposés sont moindres que si vous aviez effectivement séjourné dans un hôtel. La présence de moustiques, nous comprenons aisément que cela ait pu perturber vos nuits, mais hélas il nous est difficile d’agir sur leur présence de plus en plus prolifique dans la région, ajouter à cela le fait que nous soyons au cœur d’un domaine viticole ce qui rend la nuisance exponentielle. Nous tenons à vous réitérer nos plus sincères excuses et nous sommes navrés de savoir que votre souvenir au château ne sera pas des plus beaux. Chateau Fombrauge was such an incredible and authentic experience. The chateau and surrounding vineyard was beautiful, and our room was perfect. Stephanie was very communicative and offered us ample support on how to access the property and our room since we arrived late. Breakfast was also delicious, with an assortment of local cheeses, meats, coffee, fruit and pastries. 10/10 would recommend staying!

It’s just gorgeous, inside and out! The wine tour was very informative. The tasting great! I rented an electric bike and went to town, by myself, for dinner at a place called Chai Pascal. Superb! The room had a beautiful view of the vineyards. It was a great choice to spend a night very close to St. Émilion.

A Chateau in wine kingdom
Amazing experience right in the Chateau. We chose a suite and it was basically living in the palace for 2 days. Estelle and Stephanie were wonderful hosts.

Merveilleuse halte. Ce beau château au milieu de ses vignes reste une belle étape mais l'absence de toilettes dans la chambre est dommage comme le manque d'intimité sonore entre les chambres. Le petit-déjeuner est très convivial. Très bien dans l'ensemble.

So eine schöne Anlage, aber die Zimmer sind überhaupt nicht schallisoliert. Man hört jeden Schritt im Nachbarzimmer. Dass die Toilette im Gang ist, mussten wir wohl in der Beschreibung übersehen haben. Das Frühstück war dann wieder tiptop.

Séjour d'une nuité dans ce château lors d'un déplacement avec mon conjoint. Pas de bouilloire ou de machine à café à disposition donc aucune possibilité de prendre un thé ou café lors de notre arrivée, le lendemain petit déjeuner très basique surtout pour le cadre avec des produits surgelés. Beau cadre, bel accueil mais rien de plus.

Fantastische plek en eveneens fantastische omgeving . Echt om niet snel te vergeten. Aankomst was moeizaam omdat we er een kwartier over deden om iemand te pakken te krijgen om binnen te komen op de geboekte kamer. Kasteel is indrukwekkend maar ontbreken van eigen toilet wat minder. Zo ook douche die wat onderhoud nodig heeft

La llegada fue difícil porque no había nadie en el lugar cuando llegamos y no pudimos comunicarnos con el anfitrión por teléfono. A pesar de que avisamos nuestra hora de llegada estuvimos fuera del establecimiento por más de dos horas. El desayuno incluido estuvo excelente.

讚好：職員與服務、設施服務和住宿狀況
호텔 뒤편으로 아름다운 포도밭이 펼쳐져 있고, 방은 고급스럽고 깨끗했습니다. 화장실은 공동인 점이 아쉽지만, 함께 간 일행 모두가 그 정도 불편은 감수해도 좋을 만큼 좋은 호텔이었습니다.
