"Découverte que notre logement n est pas disponible à notre arrivée car pas d'eau pendant 5 jours. Et ceci après 9 heures de vol et une arrivée tardive à la location 17h00. Il fait nuit à 18h aux Antilles. Pas d'autre proposition d'abritel pour nous reloger....nous allions passer la nuit sans toit. Big blue, a villa with swimming pool facing the sea

"Magnifique séjour a la villa. Un vrai bonheur de se lever et se coucher avec l’océan directement devant les yeux. Nous étions un grand groupe avec de très jeunes enfants et tout était parfait. La villa est très bien équipée pour ceux comme nous qui aiment cuisiner!"

"Très belle maison, bien arrangée. Bcp d’espace. Bien située, au calme. Plusieurs restaurants (et bonne boulangerie) à quelques minutes. Très chouette piscine, bonne taille et profondeur pour les enfants. Un plus d’avoir la Clim dans les chambres. Hôtes très sympathiques et réactifs. A recommander."

"The property is set in a beautiful garden with a lovely pool. My daughter and I arrived late evening 23rd December by taxi from the airport. We had code for keysafe but no key in it! We rang the owner and she came over- she had obviously forgotten our booking and put us in a sub-standard room. It ooked out over a kind of patchy yard at the back of the building (not terrible, but not a view of the garden others had). Definitely not like the photos. A sheet but no covers and chilly at night. No bedside lamps.Our hostess gave us a loaf of cheap white bread, some crisps and a pineapple - by now 10.30-11pm. Not ideal. The reception are was then closed for the rest of our stay (we left on 27th). Breakfast was supposed to be included (or at least available at the property) but there was NONE and the local supermarket was closed on 25th. I eventually saw the hostess on 26th. When I asked about breakfast she said there wouldn't be any that day or on the 27th. She told me - quite rudely - that I could walk to the local boulangerie (of course I knew that and it was a really good one - but we had signed up for breakfast). There was a gorgeous beach not far away (30 mins walk) but the first mile or so of the road was NOT ideal, busy with speedy traffic and no pavement etc. Car is essential in Guadeloupe but I wasn't comfortable as 2 women driving 40km in the dark on first night. NOT right to be without ANY SERVICE over Christmas. At a minimum inform guests of this."
