The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed.”

“What a lovely gite this is. A hidden gem in rural Charente, and we absolutely loved our stay here at Chocolate Box Cottage. It is a beautiful spot. And if you want a quiet location, this is it. A real get away from it gite. It is wonderful, and we didn’t want to leave. Pros – this is a beautifully maintained gite / The kitchen and bedroom, are well stocked (although there is no dishwasher) / The garden is a joy to relax in with lovely different pockets to sit in / The sitting room is a great……
