Oceanfront and golf course—this beautifully appointed condo has both!!

Walking into 730 N. Hampton, the world slips away as your eyes are immediately drawn to the exquisite view of the ocean that delights all who enter: It’s a tropical oasis. That ocean view and views of the Ocean Point Golf Course and Hunting Island are seen out the large windows in all rooms and sounds of the surf are on demand when the windows are open. Relaxing on the oceanfront balcony, guests are bound to see dolphins swimming and feeding in the Fripp Inlet.

In addition to the beauty of nature, this home has everything guests need to feel pampered—Pottery Barn and coastal furnishings, original artwork, top-of-the line Serta mattresses, plush linens, a well-stocked kitchen with separate drink refrigerator, televisions in each room, beach towels and chairs.

With a private, oceanfront pool, one might never leave the complex! However, the nearest beach access is only a short walk away, and the center of the island, too, just a short golf cart ride away for those who want to explore.

We are club members so amenity cards may be purchased.

***The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 1-4 days are $35 during the summer months and $25 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 5-8 days are $50 during the summer months and $35 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you do want to purchase the amenity cards, the resort will add an additional island fee of 13% to your rental to use their amenities. This will be added to your weekly stay at time of amenity card purchase.
Each guest 13 years or older must carry an amenity card to access the Club's facilities.
There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an amenity card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a large menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. The Fripp Ship and Mango stores are fun to go into for your perfect souvenir. You do not need an amenity card for golf cart, kayak, bike, etc. rentals as there are an abundance of companies who offer rental services that will deliver to you.

Amazing place, poor management

The condo has a great location and an excellent view right on the ocean. Condo is clean and spacious. However, a few issues...some small, some big. Prior to arrival I asked the property manager if there were beach chairs, a cooler, and a "pack-n-play" or any baby things in the condo. The property manager told me "no" to all of those. We showed up at the condo and there was a pack-n-play, a cooler, and 5 beach chairs found in various closets throughout the condo. Glad I packed all of those things in my car (sarcasm). We stayed from Thursday to Tuesday. The AC stopped working on Saturday. I immediately messaged the property manager about this. They responded by asking me to "turn the AC to 73 degrees." I again wrote them on Sunday morning asking if anyone was going to fix the AC. I got no response despite expressing my disappointment in nobody coming out to fix the issue. The temperature was 80 in the condo. Our checkout was Tuesday at 10AM. Ironically, and comedically, the AC repair guy showed up literally as we were walking out the door Tuesday morning. The AC guy said he was only notified "1 hour ago." You can imagine how 3 days went in an 80 degree condo with a 3 yr old and a 5 month old. Beware if you have any issues while staying here. Property management doesn't seem to care. It's really unfortunate bc the property is nice and in a great location. Side note...Fripp Island is awesome, but really needs to improve their food/restaurant situation.

Absolutely loved the condo. The view from every room was absolutely gorgeous overlooking the ocean The private pool was so nice and having an elevator to get up and down was nice with luggage and coolers and chairs. I will definitely definitely stay there again in the future

Perfect Beach Weekend

Our family of 6 enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in this well maintained condo with a view! Booking and check-in was a breeze. The furnishings were comfortable and up to date (a must for the wife). The condo was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and be comfortable on the beach. Beach towels and chairs made things convenient as we run out of room in the van to bring ours. We found ourselves discussing the utility of the beach chairs. They had everything we needed - built in zipper cooler on the back, another section to hold our snacks and a book, plus a cup holder, pouch to hold your phone and straps to wear it on your back. I know I am a bit long winded on the chairs, but little things do make a big difference! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the balcony as we looked over the water. Being a condo I didn’t expect much privacy on the balcony but the way this unit is positioned you can’t see anyone else. Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating when we realized we left something important in the condo and had to come back to retrieve it. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy everything Fripp Island has to offer!

Amazing ocean view, dolphins galore, deer galore, nature!

The ocean view is wonderful. Explore the island at low & high tide, so many critters to see....variety of crabs, fish, deer, dolphin, turtles, mini hammerhead shark, birds and more. Beach is perfect to walk on, firm sand if you have any physical issues. The condo is decorated nicely, confortable, casual, beachy. The amenities inside are great, nice sq footage for friends & family. You do not need the amenity cards, if you only want access to the private pool associated with this complex. No one told us this. If you wish to access the beach clubs, fitness center, stores, restaurants, golf clubs you must purchase the amenity cards & you will be charged an addtional 12.8% tax of your total stay fee. The one thing we will ding this listing on...the property management' response. I asked multiple questions in advance without repeated response, literally had to beg for the amenity card invoice, & the cards were to be in the condo upon arrival, which they were not! No access to the island ammenties until receipt of cards. Also, the wrong dates on our cards amd parking pass. I requested a refund for the 2 days. . Paid for 7days, recieved 5 days. Still no refund. If the Sandcastle management is the owner of this unit, the owner should be aware of the lack of management of this property. That portion was highly disappointing. Ive never experienced such unprofessional behavor from other vrbo listings. We've rented all over the world. Overall the location and condo perfect!

Definitely worth it

Everything is better than advertised and the unit has a spectacular view. No complaints whatsoever. We saw pods of dolphins every day (less than 100 yards from our window). The only thing to be aware of is Fripp Island's rather dumb add-on policies/amenities fees, but that's true for every rental property on Fripp. We will likely be back to this unit. It (and the host) were excellent.

BEST on the Island

Wow!! Where do I start... I sort of don't want to tell everyone how wonderful this condo was because I want to be able to book it again!! BUT this view and accommodations MUST be shared. The ONLY complaint was the elevator... and unfortunately that was a must for us because we had two guests with knee issues. It definitely needs repairing. It was finicky. Sometimes it wanted to take you for a ride and sometimes it said "nope, not today..." or "Well I'm going to take you to another floor instead"... so we had to take the stairs a few times. The luggage cart is definitely a perk also but had flat tires so that needed repair too. NOTHING will keep us from coming back. That view... y'all... the osprey, pelicans, seagulls would fly right in from of the balcony and several times we saw them carrying fish. It was really cool. The beds were so amazing I truly didn't want to get up! The sunrises from the condo... wow!!! And the fact we didn't have to get out of our pajamas to see it was a huge plus. This was by far my favorite place to rent on Fripp Island, and I've stayed in many! Thank you for opening your lovely home and the manager/owner was wonderful!! I wish I could include pictures so you could see how beautiful everything was. Please trust me... it was breathtaking.

Views are spectacular!!!

I would rent this unit again without a doubt - waking up to sunrise views and all day views watching the activities on the water was a delight. The inside decor and furnishings were clean and comfortable. Unit had nice beach chairs / beach towels which was helpful (but not a cooler- bring ur own cooler). Kitchen had everything you may need (if you are picky about wine glasses or glasses for cocktails you may want to bring your own for that- the dishes and pots and pans were fine tho). We did have challenges with the water pressure /shower/ dishwasher which was resolved quickly once we called to report- did make for one uncomfortable evening tho. The only negative is the outdoor part of the building itself is aged- you don’t notice it once you are inside the unit at all- but the stairs and elevator and external walkways are needing some upgrades, in case you care about that aesthetic. It was our first time to Fripp and the restaurant options are quite limited- we could easily get into the restaurants that were available but the quality was average- price was also average (which was good!). Beaufort restaurants were 30 mins-ish away so bringing food to prepare yourself is a smart move. Overall- was a wonderful respite - quiet, comfortable and views were a slice of heaven!

What a gorgeous property!

This was our first trip to Fripp Island, and we came down with our family for our 20th wedding anniversary, with some other family renting a house nearby. The pictures don't do this property justice, folks. The island is beautiful, and within minutes we saw our first small group of deer as we passed on our way to the condo (my daughter was in LOVE immediately). Getting onto the island was a simple matter of giving my name at the security station and receiving our pass for the week. Finding the condo was easy and one of the golf cart rental contacts provided by the seller had dropped off our cart as prearranged. Per what other reviews have mentioned the elevator was out and stayed out all week, so this may be an ongoing issue for the building. This is obviously out of the owner's control but something to be aware of as the unit is on the 3rd floor, as this could have been a major issue if my Dad wasn't able to manage that many stairs. Something to be aware of if you have limitations in mobility or issues with stairs. Entry was easy, using the provided code to get the keys. The unit itself was perfect for our needs: clean, spacious, and stocked with everything needed to get you started! There are even staple spices and cooking oil (and Walmart, Food Lion and Publix are a quick 20 minute drive for supplies). A closet with nice beach chairs and thick towels is full and ready for the beach if needed, and there was a binder waiting for us with our preordered amenities cards and some info about the island on the dining table. A washer/dryer & 2nd mini fridge for drinks are an excellent extra touch. The shining gem for us about this unit is the view from the deck. The listing mentions dolphin watching from the deck and they WERE NOT WRONG folks. We watched them play at least 2x a day, every day of our 7 day trip. The end of the island where the condo is seems to be quieter than other parts of the island, or at least was during our visit in mid July, which suited us fine. While prices on-island were high (as expected) the food is good, particularly at the Grille across the street (also a hot breakfast spot). The Club restaurant also had a trivia night the was fun for both our families, especially all 5 kids! Overall, this rental is worth it! The owner was attentive and great to work with and the unit was exactly as pictured. We would absolutely rent the unit again next year. Thank you so much for a perfect anniversary trip!

A Lovely Condo

We just spent a week in this condo, and it was wonderful. The only problem we had, and it wasn't the condo owner's fault, was that the elevator was not working the entire week of our stay. It was a difficult week for my mother-in-law, who is in her late 70s and has a hard time with stairs. We chose the condo specifically for that reason, because of the elevator. That was the only disappointment. We notified the owner and she responded right away. Unfortunately, the repair could not be made quickly because they were waiting for a part to come in. The condo itself is beautiful. It is located ocean-side, and is very well-appointed. It was impeccably clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Great views and spacious accommodation s!

This property is a gem for its views of the ocean and inlet from nearly every window … for the price. The furniture is nice and comfortable (although the master bed is a bit too firm for me). The kitchen has a view of the ocean (!), but limited prep space and average appliances. Location is at North end of the island … away from best (and most crowded) beaches, but if you time the tides right there is access to a great uncrowned beach nearby with a very kid friendly pool on the way.

Great unit on second level. Beds were great. All one level. No stairs. Elevator outside. You have to learn it’s quirks but it does function. Beautiful water views and golf views. We will stay again in this unit. Great private pool for units as well.
