Awesome place, we are Jeep people and enjoy back roads. This location is not for your sporty car.

We had a great time at this cabin and the swimming hole was to die for! Hands down best vacation we have had so far! We had a great week of unplugging and getting away from everyone and everything with just our kiddos.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin has a great view off the porch. Make sure you check out swimming area on the river near the cabin you won’t be disappointed.

We loved every minute of our trip to Dewey’s Cabin. The property is beautiful with a great view, amazing sunrises and sunsets, and the cabin is only a short hike to the Ozark Highland Trail and Buffalo National River. We will be back!

Thus quite, peaceful, secluded cabin is just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather and view. We even saw an elk come to the back of the cabin to graze. We will definitely be back to stay again, we will just stay longer next time.

This location is so beautiful and relaxing. There was a fire pit and firewood ready for us. As the listing says, you definitely need AWD or 4WD to get to the cabin, but it's worth it! We will likely be back for more hiking in the fall!

The stay is so remote and the swim hole nearby is beautiful. With the cabin at the top of the hill my small daughter could explore just a little bit with our eyes always being on her. Cabin was beautiful and nicely kept. The stove was great, the water was warm. What more could you ask for?

We love this property! It was our second time to stay and we’ll be back. The drive up is gorgeous through canopies of trees. The cabin is rustic and makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The back field is so green. Each morning we moved the front chairs to the driveway and drank our coffee looking out at the fields and mountain. The beds were comfortable and nice hot water! I saw some mama turkeys and 10 baby turkeys one morning. We love this place!

Beautiful views everywhere you look. The cabin was great with the exception of the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable and old. We both did not sleep well due to the bed. The area is beautiful. Make sure you bring a 4x4 truck, you will need it to explore the area.

Booked for my buddy’s bachelor party. Was absolutely perfect for this occasion. Views were amazing and plenty of space for us.
Make sure you read the description. Truck or 4wd SUV is not just recommended it is practically required to get to the location. But once you do it is stunning.

Cutest little cabin in the middle of the woods. We actually got a family of elk in the backyard on the last morning. We ended up staying another night had to find laundry place which was a long ways away was a little frustrating and kinda wish the yard in back was bush hogged . But the swimming hole she told us about was amazing so totally made up for our little disappointments. We will for sure be back.

Dewey‘s cabin is a wonderful secluded getaway from all the hustle and bustle. The roads in and out of the cabin are very narrow and rocky and for sure would want something that sits up higher or is four-wheel-drive. I wish we would’ve been able to see a little more wildlife while we were there but first night armadillo Join us by the campfire and just walked all around us while we were out there which we found so funny and cute. My only complaint if I had one would be the bed was not the most comfortable, but it was doable. Would definitely stay again.

To start, the woman in charge was very helpful and answered promptly. The property however was very isolated, you must drive through an actual ghost town. There is no GPS 3/4 of the way up a very steep and dangerous drive through the raw woods with a sharp edged bottom filled with large rocks. If it rains you can be potentially stuck for hours until the water goes down. A small vehicle will not make this ascent. Pulled up to the property and there was a very ominous feeling upon stepping foot outside our vehicle. We did not stay the night, we tried to get through the feeling but left within 30 minutes of arriving. No cell service to speak of so could not contact anyone until you descend again. The pictures do not reflect the property. I am sorry I have nothing positive other than the communication leading up to the trip. I strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle with good clearance and an appetite for seclusion.
