BEST STAY EVER!! Dream come true! 10/10 I hesitate saying that because I don't want too many people to know of my ideal place. Having a car is essential to visit the other chateaus in the area. The pool was kept open late September due to the fabulous warm weather so I was able to swim everyday that we stayed (3). The French breakfast was perfect, hospitality was superb, the grounds and ambience perfect!

Wonderful place, room was exceptional! Breakfast was wonderful! Only disappointment was that the pool was closed, even though it says they open it n May 15th (when asked, the staff person just shrugged it off).

This was a great spot to explore the surrounding area, though we were also very happy when we just relaxed at the chateau!. My wife rated the breakfast 11/10, and the my son loved his turret side-room. Aside for breakfast, No restaurant on-site, but they have a kitchen where you can find what you need to have a nice picnic meal out the grounds

The property is beautiful!! Very picturesque, a gorgeous chateau from the 14 hundreds with beautiful grounds. You wake up to a very relaxing view of field with horses. The pool was great for a relaxing afternoon in the summer heat. The access to the pool is through a charming secret cave. The antiquity of the place has its charms but also has it's faults. While the place went through renovations, they should replace the old carpet in the room and the old vinyl floor in the bathroom. They could also use higher quality bed linen (the bed linen was the quality of a very cheap AirBnB) , to give the place the final touch of finesse and luxury.

We stayed in the big room which is separate to the main chateau - a short walk. It was private and the vaulted ceilings were stunning. Spacious. Grounds were pleasant. The two pianos did not work, nor did the foosball table. Pianos are hard to fix I know especially when they’re that broken, but in that case probably don’t mention them as an activity during checkin. The foosball table is a five minute handyman fix.

Ok continental breakfast at extra charge. No possibility to buy a glass of wine, you have to bring your own. Too many signs saying you are not allowed to do this or that.. If you want to eat something, make sure it is outside or in the small kitchen. You have to pay € 5 extra to use the washing machine once. I find that too greedy in relation to the price.
