「initial reception staff was not welcoming and for a transit hotel no english spoken by her nor any attempt. Other staff were pleasant na dhelpful Definatley a one nighter but good for that with a massive e leclerc hypermarket very close by with an excellent lunchtime cafe good fod and cheap. Siantes is a delightful town with interesting city centre streets, a beautiful cathedral and loads of cheap parking. recommeneded.」

「On our arrival after six hours travelling in a heatwave we were informed that the air conditioning wasn't working. From the sign on the door it was obviously not a recent problem. We feel we should have been told prior to our arrival when we would have had chance to book alternative accommodation. As it was we had no choice but to accept. The fan in one of the rooms was broken and could not be angled. We were told there were no spares, neither was there anywhere to get cold water. My grandson...

「While I was grateful that the room was air conditioned, the shower was very poor. I imagine that it will be similar to those on submarines. In order to operate the shower you were required to push the control button, which the allowed the water to flow for a very limited amount of time, you could just about manage to get wet. Then you could apply shampoo, soap and or body wash. You then were required to keep pushing the button to obtain water to rinse yourself down. Not a great experience.」

「Alles was helemaal prima voor onze overnachting onderweg. Schone en fijne kamer, goed bed en lekker diner en ontbijt. Alleen jammer dat we hadden gemist dat alle tijd aan de laadpaal gerekend werd (ipv tot aan vol). Hierdoor ca 70 Euro onnodige kosten voor laden/parkeren betaald. Les voor ons om hier beter op te letten. Of voor personeel om hierop te attenderen.」

「Due to the wildfire in Bordeaux, we changed our hotel to O’Nice and stayed for 2 nights, the location is perfect for sightseeing around the region, took us 35 mins driving to Cognac, and 40 mins to Royan. Our room was not big, but a/c was quite good in such hot weather. Parking space is generous and very secure, and the restaurant next to the hotel is always busy, we’ll give it a try next time.」

「Parking was the reason to choose the hotel. Couldn’t access before it opened at 3pm. Air Con gauge didn’t go below 24C. WiFi just didn’t work at all in our room. No gluten-free option for breakfast…so didn’t have Bfast.」
