Hand towel was the only issue for the room. Everything was spotless apart from the hand towel. Room was big and bathroom was freshly renovated. The communication could be better, we had to txt first to get the code to get in, this should be sent out the day before, especially for those travelling a long distance like us. Aside from that I have no complaints and it wouldn’t stop me going back.

Location was great but to describe this guest house as boutique is a big stretch of the imagination. Room was clean but decor and furniture tired. Stain on the sofa. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. Bathroom - crack in the sink. Water pressure was low and ran hot and cold in the shower despite it being the only water in use at the time. Shower curtain was water stained. Cheap toiletries. Only two sachets of coffee provided and no tea. Overall we didn't think it was great value for money at £97

Was hard to find the parking area. We had to call a number to get codes for doors. We were not greeted otherwise. Room was large and it’s obviously been recently decorated (poorly). Bathroom had numerous broken tiles, dirty floor and wet bath mat which meant that we didn’t feel comfortable using the shower. No breakfast facilities and we were woken early by the sun coming through the ripped film that had been put on windows. No view except of car park. Plus points is that the bed was comfy even though there was no mattress protector and the pub along the road was very welcoming. Would come back to area to visit family but not to this hotel. Expensive for very basic facilities.

The hotel was surprisingly good. A little rough on the onset but after meeting new owner he is making things really nice step by step. Quiet and comfortable sleep with a convenient store right across the road! It was a great stop over! I'd recommend it for a night or two.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The area felt very safe, which was reassuring, and the surroundings were clean and well-maintained. It was also a quiet place to relax, making it ideal for a peaceful stay. The only downside was the steep stairs, which might be challenging for some guests, especially if carrying luggage. Other than that, everything was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a safe, clean, and quiet place to stay.
