Yes the property is really run down and looks nothing like the photos BUT it is clean, the beds are comfortable and it’s a great location, plenty of parking at a reasonable price. We have stayed there twice now and will stay again.

The hotel was okay for the price. I liked that we had a microwave and fridge in our room. It was also clean, and breakfast was good. However, they should tighten security to prevent customers’ valuables from being stolen.

* Apparent untreated mould on the ceiling. • A heater that did not work properly • A failed automated key, forcing a room change • A torn chair and a poorly maintained room • My wife could not sleep properly and was left distressed.

Extremely dated hotel. Extremely expensive for one night. If you’ve got a gig at Wythenshawe park save £200 and sleep in your car!

The toilet didn't work on arrival, however, the staff member at reception managed to fix it. The heating didn't work. The bedside light didn't work, there were cobwebs, the old single glazed windows wouldn't shut properly and were in disrepair, the drive and car park was full of deep pot holes. I chose it over a Travelodge because I like to support the smaller, private companies, however, I wouldn't stay there again.

Staff was nice but considering this was ment to be a superior room it was well below what I’d expect even in a standard room very dated, ripped wallpaper stained carpets dirt in drawers the only positive I have is bed was comfy and bedding was very clean

The Normanhurst is starting to look very tired and a bit run down, having said that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Parking was good, the location is great and pricing was better than the competitor hotels nearby.

Even though I called to say I was late due to flight delays the hotel still closed. Carpets were stained through out, building is old and falling into disrepair. States guest services which emptied bin and gave new towels after asking didn’t replace the mugs or re-supply tea or coffee through my 2 week stay.
