Come and enjoy a fun packed vacation visit to Maplecrest at Lake Jocassee right next to Devils Fork State Park in the mystic Cherokee Foothills of the South Carolina. Recognized by National Geographic Magazine as a waterfall paradise. Our well kept vacation rental is a true all seasons 4 bedroom 2 bath home that offers wonderful year-round accommodations for up to 8 guests. The house is located on a secluded 2 acre private property with woodland views / large front & screen porches / full kitchen / gas BBQ grill / outdoor deck dining / campfire ring and activity field / Free WIFI. We are exactly 1 mile from the Devils Fork State Park Boat Launch & Swimming Area and have a large parking area for both your boat trailer and other vehicles. Although we are not a lakefront property, our location is extremely peaceful and quiet away from the busy and noisy daily road traffic to Lake Jocassee at the Main Park Entrance ! Guests love that we offer easy (2 minute) back entrance access to the Lake boat ramps and is one of the most convenient locations to area restaurants , food stores, boat rentals and waterfall tour boats. Children always welcome and a well behaved pets are considered. From our nicely equipped kitchen to our comfy beds and tranquil woodland surroundings. Maplecrest is the perfect rental home for couples, families and friends.

Very close to devils fork state park. Great if you have a boat and want to enjoy the lake! We had 5 adults and used 3/4 rooms. Pleanty of space for us. Really enjoyed the screened in porch. Happy we were able to bring our dogs!

We had a perfect long weekend. The dogs loved the yard, the house met all of our needs and the proximity to the lake was awesome. We couldn't have asked for better weather or the convenience and comfort of the house. When we got off the lake tired and ready to go home and cook dinner, we had everything we needed right there. This location is perfect for Lake Jocassee access, it’s soo close!! Plenty of room to park a boat and the driveway wasn’t steep. We had a great time, the house is comfortable and has everything you need. The most helpful amenities for me were the coffee filters and washer/dryer/detergent!! We had two families with kids and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Huge dining table for us all to dine at together. The host is very accessible and responsive. Another year of great family memories made at Maplecrest!

This house is in a great location to be able to access both Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. It was nice, clean, and private. I loved that it had a fenced in front yard. Appliances are dated but all in working condition. It had everything we needed but I did miss having my Keurig (no big deal). There was not any WiFi but we did have cell service. The owner was very accessible for questions. I would rent here again next time we come back.

Everything you need (except no WiFi). Described as 4 bedrooms, but 1 bedroom did not have a closet & the other bedroom was more of a sleeping area in the basement. My 81 year old dad actually loved the basement area & claimed that as his “man cave”. The house itself was taken care of. Master bath had an adorable hand-painted mural & we loved the stained glass throughout the home. We also hung out on the screened in porch a LOT. The only downfall was the location. The street had mostly mobile homes & run down houses & a vacant house next door with broken out windows, etc. However, with the house being on almost 2 acres, you couldn’t see the neighboring houses.

Lake house fantastic location! Lot’s of info in the black binder at the house about falls/hikes, boating and places to go for food. Dining out or meal prep at the house. Plenty of room to spread out. Great fenced in yard.
