"Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on it. The breakfast was nice. There was hot food available, not just sweets like some motel/hotels have. It's across the road from the St. James visitor center. The gentleman in there was so friendly. There is a walking trail at the visitor center. If you like what I call "Fru Fru" coffee (which is what I like) there's a great little shop called Exit 11 Coffee. We even stopped in on our way back from Branson just to get coffee on our way to St. Lewis! There's also a great restaurant that serves the BEST Strawberry Lemonade in the world! It's called Rick's Famous Burgers. I would definitely stay here again. St. James is a very nice town. This motel is a great place to rest your head especially if you're traveling the Classic Route 66!"
