Let down in a few areas, but overall ok

Place was difficult to find. Reception Staff were amazing. If you wanted to use the beach, you had to pay. Waiter at evening meal was on his own, but really did a great job.

We didn’t like the amount of mosquitoes in our room. Even though we didn’t open the patio door we were consistently finding about 10 or more mosquitoes on the ceiling. We woke up every morning with dozens of mosquito bites. The property feels outdated, old fashioned and rundown.

Rooms full of mosquitoes. There were many smears on the walls of dead mosquitoes, including many with blood, which housekeeping had not wiped off. Bedsheets looked old, blankets had holes and disgusting stains. Bathroom had mold, air conditioning did not work, and hallways were dark. Breakfast was extremely limited, and some of the items did not look fresh. On second night the hotel filled-up with a school excursion of adolescents. They had little if any adult supervision, and were extremely noisy, running in hallways (some in their underwear), and knocking on the door. There was no hot water in the bathroom until almost two hours after they went to dinner. We checked-out early and went to stay at another place.
