"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."

"Great location near the train station. Helpful, friendly staff. Room was small but very clean and everything worked. Room 11 had a large skylight instead of a window but didn’t seem claustrophobic to me. Continental breakfast was self-serve with plenty of good things to choose from. (Cooked breakfast was also and option but I didn’t have that). Despite being in a pub building it was quiet. The building is old but well maintained. Good value."

"The cottage was really clean and comfortable. Jacqui had thought of everything we would need so the cottage was really well equipped. The linen was fresh and good quality and the bed really comfortable. For us we would have liked the cottage to have been nearer to Berwick but that was our fault for not checking that when we booked. We spent a day in Berwick which is a lovely town we walked the town wall, saw all the historical sites and did a walk along the river. We went up into the Scottish border village of Eyemouth and did a coastal path walk, very pretty place. We also walked the Spittal promenade with a view of Berwick over the water. Would recommend Jacqui's cottage."

We shopped at M & S for food, about 5 mins drive, and all the places we wanted to visit were any easy drive away - Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Farne Islands boat trips. Jacqui gave us all the information we needed and there were no difficulties with the key box."
