"There were three generations in our party and accommodation was perfect for all. The house was spacious and very well equipped. Thee was plenty if fresh towels and the house was spotless. It was a great base for travelling around the area. The large garden was ideal for young children and the travel cot & high chair was ideal too. We will definitely consider a return visit."

"Such a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Austin & Julie are brilliant hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and definitely want to come back again. The house was the perfect size for 11 of us to stay in with a fab garden area (weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t use it to the fullest but kids were so happy to see the play area out there). Close to the coast to go to the Saltees, nearby Johnstown estate is only 15 mins away and Hook Head is not too far either. We were sad to leave...

"This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford. We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was cleaner and newer than many dedicated hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom was spotless and modern, with excellent hot water and strong water pressure. Despite the presence of a bar downstairs, the soundproofing was superb—we couldn't hear any noise from the pub at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were welcoming, and the food was very satisfying. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would happily choose to book this lodge again in the future!"
