蜜月套房浴室使用不方便，被很薄，燈光較昏暗，部份電制插頭冇電，燈膽忽光忽暗，持續性房間有雜音，整體來說並不理想，但員工態度及服務很好。

Great location and extremely friendly staffs
Overall it's a very good place to stay. Great location, it's just in the old town center. We could walk to most of the important attractions. Public transportation and connection is good and convenient. Walking a couple of mins you can reach the bus/tram stop and take bus or tram to Königsee, Hallstatt and Redbull Hangar 7 or Salzburg airport. Breakfast is awesome. Hotel staffs are always nice and friendly. But we ran into the same situation as other travelers' experience, we stayed for 2 nights the shower gel was used up on the first day and no refill afterwards even we came to the desk to ask and remind them. You better check the shower gel first when you are in the room. Also the room price is somehow too high. With the price we expected to get a bigger or newer room. I'd suggest you to consider other hotels not located in the old town center if you also hope to stay with a fair price. Because the public transportation system is quite convenient in Salzburg city center, you can even walk.

Great location, Fantastic Staff!
Great location, Fantastic Staff, very kind and helpful. Right in the city center, we stayed over weekend, and a litle bit noisy on the street, but didn't harm the good stay. Very recommended!!

At the beginning the lady at the front desk was not very informed and they put us in a room too small and with stairs to go up. No good because we had 3 big bags and there was no person to hep us with our bags they also put us in another building not the one we booked for. But after persisting about this issue finaly they put us in the right room The place is nice if they put you in the right place. But it wasn't easy to get them to do so.

Thank yoiu very much for your review.Unfortunately, you did not describe the situation quite correctly. Through Expedia you booked the room type Standard Double Room, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking (Residence) with the request for the room to be made up with twin beds. The Residence is our annex building and there we only have one room where the beds can be sparated into twin beds. Unfortuntely, this room is on the top floor of the building which can only be reached by one floor of stairs. When you stated that you did not like the room because of the stairs I explained the situation. As an alternative I offered to upgrade your room to a Superior double room in the main building of the hotel, However you hesitated for a while because in this room we could not make up the beds as twin beds. After my third offer to change the room you finally agreed and we moved your luggage to the new room. As initially we gave you the the kind of room you orignally booked with the request you stated and then right away offered you an alternative when you did not like the room I feel that we did everything possible in order to make your stay a pleasant one.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr Zuvorkommend, Hilfsbereit und Freundlich. Das Hotel war sehr modern und sehr sauber. Der Wellnessbereich war sauber und sehr gemütlich. Auf Anfrage die Sauna vorzuheizen reagierte das Hotel sehr schnell und wir hatten den Wellnessbereich für uns alleine. Leider war die Lage am Hotel sehr Laut da dort die Läden in der Gasse beliefert wurden mit Rollwägen über Kopfsteinpflaster. Mitten in der Nacht wurden Mülltonnen entleert und die Straßenreinigung fuhr auch mitten in der Nacht bei dem das Hotel natürlich nichts dafür kann. Bei der nächsten Hotelbuchung würde ich dennoch darauf achten ein Zimmer auf der anderen Seite zu bekommen. Beim Frühstück war das Personal sehr fix und freundlich am 2.Tag. Beim 1.Tag Frühstück kannten wir uns noch nicht aus und beim bestellen von Tee nickte der Kollege der sich nicht so gut verständigen konnte. Wir wurden extra gefragt was wir haben wollen. Wir bekamen aber nichts zu trinken. Als wir 20 Minuten später dann mal nachfragten verstand er erst mal nichts und zeigte uns aber dann die Ecke wo es Tee und Saft gab und wir das selbst holen müssen. Für Gäste die neu sind wäre es toll sowas gesagt und gezeigt zu bekommen das es in einer schlecht einsehbaren Ecke diese Sachen gibt.

An absolute gem. We had a wonderful stay in late March. The property is lovely, well cared for and perfectly located in the altstadt. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive and helpful.

Friendliest hotel employees. Just wondeful how they welcome you and take care of you during the stay. The spa/pool area is wonderful and perfect after a long day around town. Location is great - a few minutes walk to the center of the old town, but located in a quiet area for a peaceful night. We have been here before and will be back again. Gem of a hotel with a spa
Fabulous hotel located near pedestrian Linzergaße. Main hotel has all facilities expected and they have a Residenz across the street where we stayed with lovely, quiet , ensuite rooms. Helmut on reception was friendly, efficient and spoke good English. Check in was great, highly recommend booking with breakfast included and do take your swimming gear as the pool & spa are a must after a days sightseeing.

This is my fourth visit. We are regular visitors to Salzburg and find that the hotel is convenient if you are driving in and out of the city. The staff are friendly and professional. Das Altstadthotel ist ein sehr schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorzukommend. Man hat sich richtig willkommen gefühlt. Die zentrale Lage war hervorragend. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Spa mit Pool und Sauna, was wir aber aufgrund unseres kurzen Aufenthaltes nicht genutzt haben.
