Not a good place to stay but restaurant good.

Our stay was ruined by other guests who were drunk and behaving badly. The jacuzzi was situated near our room and they decided to use it at 2 am. We were asleep and were woken up by a group running up and down the stairs outside and screaming and laughing. We were then subjected to this for an hour. We tried to contact reception but no one was available. We eventually asked the group to quieten and were given abuse. They said it was their right to use it at any time. Door to jacuzzi location should be locked by the management so this cannot happen. Someone should have been available to assist with these drunken louts. It was intimidating. We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times but won’t stay again.

Convenient decent hotel

Can’t ask for much better in the small town of Samatan. The rooms are clean, and have AC. Great big walk-in showers! Double sink vanity. The only thing I didn’t care for is that there was no door to close to go to the bathroom but I was alone in the room so it wasn’t a problem for me. My room name was “Blanche”. The staff is very nice. They serve a great breakfast with freshly baked croissants. You can also have lunch there, it’s convenient.

Lovely hotel in Samatan

Love this little hotel in such a typical French town. We have stayed a couple of times. This time it is under new management and is just as nice and friendly as before. Restaurant is also very good. Only grumble is it’s tiresome to sign into WiFi every day.

Court séjour mais accueil parfait!!

Très beau petit hôtel à Samatan, au milieu du Gers. Réception chaleureuse et efficace ouverte tard. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées et le petit dej est bon.

Good hotel with very helpful and friendly staff an

Hotel was eye-catching on the approaches to the town, and we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff. The room was beautifully and quirkily decorated, though not much storage space for clothes etc. There was a big double-basin bathroom. The restaurant was excellent serving local food imaginatively presented.

Quaint with a warm welcome

Arrived to a very warm welcome on a cold day. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Our only negative was the bathroom arrangement which was not enclosed. The shower however was very nice but would have preferred the WC to be shut off. The service and breakfast was good. Overall a good stay.

Excellente nuit

Une nuit trés agréable, avec la meilleure literie depuis longtemps. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le grand lit, la taille de la chambre, le confort, la grande douche et l'accueil et le service. J'ai d'ailleurs regrété de ne pas y dîner car le restaurant est trés renomé dans la région. J'ai hâte d'avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.
