Il faut être conscient que nous en avons eu pour le prix que nous avons payé. Cet hébergement est très peu cher pour San Andres. La propriétaire est très sympathique. Il est intéressant de se retrouver avec la population locale.

Bom, recomendo!

Hospedagem com boa localização, apesar de não ficar no centro, mas com parada de ônibus nas imediações. A dona é super simpática e gentil. O grande problema é se tiver com malas muito grandes, o acesso é por uma escadaria, mas recebemos ajuda para o deslocamento. Bom custo beneficio, tem mercado nas imediaçoes.

Alojamento com staff simpático e atencioso

O alojamento é simples, mas atende a proposta de uma estadia com boa relação custo x benefício. Juliana nos deu todo o apoio necessário, com presteza e simpatia. Importante fornecer o número de telefone indicado pela Juliana na confirmação da reserva ao taxista, pois o alojamento não é tão fácil de localizar. Existem utensílios no quarto, a cama é confortável, o bairro é tranquilo, não há água quente no chuveiro (sem maiores problemas em função do calor) e não há ar condicionado, apenas ventiladores. O atendimento é o ponto forte. A volta na ilha com scooter ou carro de golfe é recomendada.

Basic and Clean

I was received by very friendly and warm Fanny. She provided detailed information about the island. The Bight View, located in El Bight neiborhood is only 7 to 10 minutes away from the Airport and 5 minutes away from the beach. The room is basic, clean and comfortable.

Estuvimos con mi familia mi esposo e hijos es un lugar para dormir de manera cómoda, hay una cocina con lo básico para que prepares desayunos, está central entre playas y restaurantes, puedes caminar o tomar bus para irte a playas y al comercio de la zona. Queda cerca a un malecón. El sitio es bueno no se hace limpieza a diario pero realmente a la isla vas a disfrutar de la playa y de la comida local.

Barely a one-star hotel

This hotel is poorly located and antiquated. There is no drinkable water available and no hot water available for showering. One half of the electrical outlets are working or are unsafe to use for your electrical devices. The hotel is under construction and located in the middle of a block of a Housing Development. There's no direct access to the hotel from your car or taxi. You have to proceed to the hotel down an unsafe walkway that is unlit at night time. The hotel offers no food, vending machines, or water for purchase on site. The impression that we had of the accommodations from the website did not match up to reality. Basically it's just a place to lay your head down and take a cold shower. The rooms were oppressively hot requiring all the fans provided to maintain a bearable temperature in the room. There are a few but limited stores and local restaurants within walking distance. It's just over two and a half miles to the local downtown Beach the commercial section of the island and about 4 miles from the other public beach in the non commercial area. Overall, the staff that we met at the hotel was extremely nice, I would not consider coming back and staying because of the facilities and especially the location.

Prepare to catch the bus

We talked to other tourists who were staying in the island and we realized that we had a nice room for San Andres patterns. There were 5 fans available (4 fixed on the wall), and sometimes we had to turn them all on. The island is very hot, that's why most places don't have hot water (so doesn't this one). Our hostess Lina was kind enough to help us to buy food at 22:00, when all the nearby markets were already closed. Therefore, ARRIVE EARLY, before 18:00, otherwise you may not have even potable water to drink and nothing to eat. The cleaner lady was adorable and always let the room neat. The Wi-Fi didn't work well inside the rooms, so we had to get the signal at the hall. The location is far from center (30 minutes on foot), so it's imperative to learn to catch the bus if you plan to expend little. The pillows weren't so confortable, but we always got so tired that it didn't disturb our sleep.

Hostel básico, muito limpo, atendimento e suporte muito bom, sem chuveiro quente, sem ar condicionado. O único problema que tive foi o Wifi, o sinal não chega no quarto e acabei ficando offine. O hostel não fica perto do centro, necessário alugar uma moto ou caminhar bastante.

Very Good for what it is

The facility was very clean and close to the downtown area. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. No hot water or airconditioning but plenty of fans and it's in the tropics; who needs hot water. I enjoyed my stay.

O quarto é bem agradável. Quando chegamos, a responsável pela pousada nos apresentou a ilha e o que havia para fazer nela em um mapa. Cama confortável e lençóis limpos. Foi feita limpeza no quarto diariamente. (Só do penúltimo para o último dia é que não). O único ponto contra foi a "cozinha", principal motivo pelo qual fiz a reserva. No nosso quarto ela não era totalmente equipada (sem fogão), tinha o básico para improvisar um café da manhã. Em compensação, a vista para o mar era maravilhosa. O ponto da internet ficava longe do nosso quarto. Se você vai viajar só para curtir é tranquilo, mas se precisa trabalhar enquanto estiver lá pode ser complicado. Enfim, de maneira geral, recomendo! Passamos dias muito agradáveis lá! Estávamos relativamente longe do centro, mas em compensação, encontramos comida com preço mais justo e saborosa. As comidas típicas foram uma surpresa muito agradável.

My Room with a view

Great location for exploring the amazing safe clean beaches, great local street food or relaxed dining. The people on the island are amazingly kind and patient with those of us who are not fluent in Spanish. I love San Andrès

Bunk beds and hurricane

I liked this place even with some of it's flaws, the host Lina was a darling and very helpful! I wasn't going to spend a lot of money on a tiny island where pretty much everything is under a $5 cab ride away, but still needed a private room, enter bight view. I booked a private room that actually sleeps 5 guests at 1/5th of the cost as it varies by the number of guests and you can see the ocean at a distance. It is a 15 min walk from downtown, you will need a cab to go out at night. During day time, I almost always got a bus or a lift on a motorcycle after walking for a couple of minutes. Rocky Cay, big laguna pond and first church are all at 15-30 min walking distance. There was no hot water (or I could not get it to work), shower head and mirror in the room. I would recommend this place if you don't mind being away from the action and just want a cheap place to sleep when you are not on the beach.

Muito bom! Hotel agradável, limpo, aconchegante.

Muito bom!!! Hotel localizado a 15 minutos do centro de ônibus, limpo, quarto espaçoso, ventilado. Tem local e utensílios para preparar refeições mais simples, além de contar com frigobar. Está localizado próximo ao ponto de ônibus e táxi, a um mercadinho e ao restaurante Mamamia, que possui comida muito boa a barata. A equipe do hotel é excelente, a Lina é muito simpática e nos atendeu muito bem, além de nos dar as sugestões de passeios. Recomendo muito o Bight View!!
