This gorgeous, wooded property is a botanical paradise that backs up to 70 acres of land. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching birds, deer, and other wildlife. Or, stroll through the beautifully landscaped yard and take in an array of flowers and trees never seen before in San Antonio. All this in the heart of San Antonio! YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS LOCATION! SIX FLAGS, LA CANTERA, THE RIM & MORE! If you are wanting an 'escape' on your vacation, but want to be close to all the action, then this is the home for you!

This is a gorgeous home, abundant with character that will last well after your stay! State-of-the-art kitchen with all the upgrades including granite counter tops and bay window with pool views. Living room walks out to private oasis with enormous pool, hot tub, over-sized yard, and views of 70 acres of land.

Our home is in a great location (Northwest side of San Antonio, just west of 1-10 and just south of 1604). It’s just 5 minutes from Six Flags and LaCanterra Golf Course and outdoor mall; 10-15 minutes from SEA WORLD and Lackland Air Force base, just minutes from groceries, stores, restaurants and anything you could ever need during your stay. The neighborhood was established in the 1980’s, and it’s been very well maintained. It’s quiet and family oriented, so we do ask guests to be respectful of that (NO PARTIES).

The beautiful weather in San Antonio affords us the luxury of having our pool open YEAR ROUND! Our pool is not heated, but history has proven December and January (and sometimes February) are really the only months it gets too cold to swim. The pool at this home is 9 ft. deep at the deep end. NOW FEATURING A STATE-OF-THE-ART HOT TUB TO RELAX IN YEAR ROUND!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

This property was very clean. Loved the back yard and the hot tub. Too cold for the pool during our stay but still was able to enjoy the outdoor patio area. Nice neighborhood. Would stay here again!

Great property and location

We enjoyed pur visit to San Antonio and this property. Everything was as described. Communication was great with property manager. Nears tons or restaurants, walmart, sams and easy the interstate. Would recommend to anyone.

Love this place!

We took a small family trip with our in laws and memories were made at this beautiful house! There was plenty of space for everyone! The kids loved it more than anything else constantly asking when we were going back to the house. It was amazingly clean & had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Perfect for our girls weekend

We love San Antonio, especially The Rim/La Cantera area. House is in a great, quiet location. The backyard & pool/hot tub were awesome. Comfy beds and loved access to the garage door opener. Will definitely bring my family back this summer to take advantage of a quiet, fun house close to all the things!

The property is GREAT. The pool and spa are enjoyable and the the deer feed on the other side of the fence. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with grocery stores nearby. The property is very close to 6 Flags park too plus various shopping. Downtown San Antonio is only 20 minutes drive. Very nice property.

Great San Antonio stay

Just spent 8 nights as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 10 and 8. The location of the house is fantastic and a great location to do all the tourist attractions-its in the middle of Six Flags and Sea World. Everything you need food wise is within easy distance. My kids loved the pool-its huge a bit cold as it's April but they then warmed up in the hot tub before going again!Both me and my partner are also walkers/runners. Just under a mile away on a walk is a trail path through a park which was a great wake up every morning and usually we ate the calories back eating donuts from Shipley's on the way back!It's a quiet cul de sac, not overlooked and has a feeder at the back where we saw deer multiple occasions as well as the birds. Communication with the hosts was effortless and cannot thank them enough for allowing us to stay!

Home away from home

This was the best vacation we have had in years. The tranquil atmosphere of the backyard was the highlight of the property. The variety of wildlife like birds, butterflies, deer and foxes was exquisite. The pool was perfect to cool off after hot days. The property was in a quiet yet centrally located area to all attractions. The property was well maintained and perfect for our family's stay. The hosts were kind and attentive and easy to contact. We will stay here again for future trips to visit our daughter. Thank you for hosting us.

The best time

We came down to go to SeaWorld. The home was only 20 minutes from SeaWorld. It was such a amazing place to stay we had lots of laughs and enjoyed the pool and just hanging out. The place was so inviting and clean and very quiet, I enjoyed sitting outside in the am and seeing all the deer come up and eat. I enjoyed it so so much !!!! We definitely will be back

Excellent visit to San Antonio!

Enjoyed our stay! Excellent location, house was nice and very clean and stocked with necessities (e.g. coffee and creamer!!) and then some! Stairwell was a bit tricky for us so pay attention on the midlevel landing coming down but the loft area is a great space, almost like a 4th bedroom! The pool was immaculate and offers a lot of privacy. We were also able to enjoy a lot of wildlife on the property behind the house, deer come to eat and drink from a feeder on the adjacent property. I will definitely stay here again in the very near future.

Nature Paradise

Home was beautiful. Everything was carefully thought out for us to be able to enjoy our visit. We enjoyed our coffee watching deers, red cardinals and squirrels. Pure tranquility in the middle of the city. One thing we did wish was that the dinner table would sit at least 6. We did pull chairs from the dinnete so we all could enjoy our dinner together. We are planning to come back in September and we will be staying there again. Loved the location being centralized to everything.

Amazing house! Quiet street and flawlessly clean. Great communication and every question you have about the house is provided. Amazing pool and the house has everything u need. Comfortable beds and couch. We really enjoyed coming home to swimming every day. The backyard is backed up to land and there were deer right next to you while u swim. We will stay there again. This is our new go to in San Antonio. Check out Tejas Rodeo as well.

Home sweet home

We loved our stay at this homey VRBO. Their communication process was clear and through, including a binder of printed materials regarding the check in and out processes and local recommendations. The backyard made the stay! We loved watching all the birds and deer. I was recovering from a surgery and had to use a special recliner in the living room. The owners were gracious enough to allow me to use it and even had somebody there for the pickup since we flew home early in the morning. Above and beyond on all fronts! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Fun girls trip!

We had a nice stay at this property when we stayed for our girls trip in San Antonio! The house was located in a nice area which was convenient to all of the main attractions. Communication was very good with the home owners…had a few hiccups with the WiFi upon check-in but it was resolved very quickly. The backyard and pool area are awesome! Literally felt like you were on a nature reserve and was very private. The only knock I can give is that the hot tub didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while (murky water and crust-like substance on sides of tub) so we didn’t use it. Could use a good scrub down but but other than that, everything was great!

3 Quiet Night in San Antonio

This rental home is in a great location for visiting Six Flags and getting into the city easily while still enjoying peace and quiet for your evenings. It was very clean upon arrival and check in & out were easy. We were happy to have ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms and the backyard felt very private. Overall we were quite content with the property and the property managers were very fast to reply with any questions we had. The pool was a little chilly (because it was only April) and the hot tub was a little hot for our tastes- we still used them both though! Only downsides were the lack of some smaller details- no towel hooks in the bathrooms, cabinets and dishwasher showing their age, no laundry detergent provided, etc. It was nothing that impeded us having a great time and we’d still recommend this home for families enjoying San Antonio. Thank you!

San Antonio Vacation Pool Home

My family enjoyed our stay here at the San Antonio/Ridgehaven home. Beautiful home in a very quiet neighborhood, rarely saw anyone on the block during our weeklong stay. Nice home with everything my family needed. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, spending a few days just to relax at the house and swim. Plenty of wildlife in the area due to the nature preserve behind home, saw a couple of deer in the backyard first morning, lots of Cardinals, Hummingbirds,Butterflies, and Lizards/Geckos. Close to shopping, dining, and multiple interstates/highways. Easy to get around the San Antonio area, only about a 20 minute drive to downton/River Walk/Alamo area depending on traffic. Only issue we experienced was the hot tub going out Sunday due to Storms Saturday night, heating element issue was fixed and hot tub was back in action on Monday. The Wells Property Group team was very easy to work with and communicate with. Next time my family is in the area we will look into renting from the Wells Property Group again!!! Thank You!!
