We spent 2 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was WONDERFUL! From the time we pulled up in front of the hotel until we checked out this morning! Immediately, as we pulled up there was a friendly concierge that opened my door, took my pillow and gave me his hand to assist me out of our car onto the sidewalk. Valet parking is an additional charge ($59 per night I believe). He assumed that is what we wanted so we went ahead and did it and it was so worth it not having to find parking and walk to the hotel. Im sure you could let them know if you want to decline and just step inside to check in and then park yourself. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, rooms are spacious, beds & pillows are like sleeping on a cloud! The windows had wooden shutters rather than blinds that were beautiful and we had a view of the riverwalk (room 820). We forgot our phone chargers in the car and when the concierge came to our room to bring our luggage, he happily went down to retrieve them & brougbt them back up to our room. The hotel restaurant is great as well as the restaurant service. Two steps out the front door is another great mexican food restaurant with tables oveelooking the riverwalk. Our only complaint (not actually "complaint" at all tho), was that the bathroom did not have a fan/vent or bars in the shower. The floor of the shower does get slippery so be mindful of this. And there were no dressers or drawers to unpack your clothes, but there is a nice size closet and a huge desk area.
