Really nice house quiet neighborhood. The owners were awesome great communication. Close enough to be able to walk to the river walk and Alamo. I would highly recommend this place if you’re staying in San Antonio.

Perfect Location

We stayed as a corporate group while exhibiting at a trade show at the Convention Center nearby. The house was fantastic, clean, and quiet. Everything looked as advertised, and the host was quick to respond to any questions. We also loved how close it was to downtown and the convention center.

A Gem Near it All!

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with this property. The entire home was immaculate, comfortable, and inviting. My favorite moment was drinking my early morning coffee on the rooftop. The location was perfect for the River Walk, The Pearl, and The Frost Bank Center. When we return, we will definitely reserve this gem near it all.

Nice house

We met up here with some family we hadn’t seen in a while. The house was great. Location was convenient to lots of attractions. The rooftop deck was a great gathering place to start off the day and to wind down in the evenings. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Convenient to convention center

Excellent for entertaining—we should have invited our colleagues from the convention for drinks and discussion on our rooftop lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and running along the river. A fine time was had by all.

La Vacation on Lavaca

Our group of 3 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lavaca Oasis. It served as the perfect base for our long weekend in San Antonio. The house is well furnished, modern and very clean. Loved the spacious kitchen and dining / living area that allowed us to congregate and chill. After checking in with our hosts, we didn't need any further contact because everything was perfect.

Fun home in a great location

We loved the layout and location of the home. We walked to the River Walk several times, through the King William District, and even all the way to the Historic Market Square. Loved being able to walk to several fun places for meals: Battalion, Dough Pizzeria, and Commonwealth Coffeehouse. We felt perfectly safe in the area, even at night.The house itself was comfortable and spacious, and we loved the decor. Wish we could have spent more time on the rooftop patio, but the weather didn’t cooperate.Easy check-in, great amenities, and comfortable beds. It was a great stay!

Wonderful

I rarely give reviews because my expectations are high and not often exceeded. The Lavaca property was OUTSTANDING. The little things the owners did made it a great experience. The beds were very comfy, the furniture and fixtures were nice, the location was great and the property was everything advertised and more. Would not hesitate to recommend. The rooftop was fantastic.

Perfect getaway spot

The pictures are really accurate. It is a really comfortable charming place to hang out. River walk is really 10 minutes away and the host/property manager is really easy to work with. She let us check in a couple hours early to accommodate the flight time. Beds were comfortable and there are a lot of thoughtful touches. They left a couple bottles of Topo Chico and chips and salsa for us. The Keurig had good coffee and they had nice toiletries. Checkout procedures are also very reasonable. Pretty much just take out the trash and start the dish washer and leave the used towels on the floor in the bathroom.They even had Vornado fans which I appreciate because I need a little white noise to fall asleep to.

Delightful

We stayed at three different places during our trip. This one by far was the most superior. It was the perfect walk from the River Walk. The neighborhood is going through a glow up. Although not all the houses in the area looked great, we never felt unsafe. No issues with homeless unlike other areas of town. We felt spoiled inside with all the room and bathrooms. It definitely looks like the photos. The weather was poor but we would have loved to spend more time on the roof top deck. We turned on the lights at night and could spot it from the Tower of Americas. Everything we needed was there. Loved the 2 washing machines and dryers. That made life so easy. Thank you for the oven mitts (I burnt my hand at the other two places because all I had a towel.) The perfect place to stay in San Antonio if you like to be a short walking distance from downtown. Also we appreciated the simple door code that was easy to remember (one place we stayed had a 15 number code.)
