The space
If you're looking for a charming and comfortable downtown rental, this historical home is located in the most desirable zip code in the city and is surrounded by major attractions such as being located directly across the street from the Botanical Gardens! Relax with coffee and a book in your private fully fenced yard. The original long-leaf pine hardwood floors and updated master bathroom all tie in well while being located in the most sought after area!

The house is right next to the Botanical Gardens so please expect some noise when they have events going on.

Guest access
Guests have access to the guesthouse and street parking. Guests do not have access to the main house on the same property (unless they booked it, of course).

Other things to note
Well-behaved pets are allowed for an additional fee.

For full transparency, here's our check-out process:
Optional, if you have time only:
- Strip the sheets and pillowcases and put them in a pile.
- Put dirty towels in a pile.
- Make sure all dishes are washed or put in the dishwasher. We’d appreciate it if you can also start the dishwasher (unless there’s nothing to wash). You don’t have to wait for it to finish.

Required:
- Turn off all lights, TV, AC or heater.
- Please pick up after your pets. If you leave poop in the yard, our cleaners will charge an extra $50, which you'll have to pay.
- Check to be sure you have all personal items. We are not responsible for lost/missing belongings and won’t be able to ship items back to you.
- Take all trash to the trash bins.
- Close and lock all windows and doors.
- Please make sure all doors are locked before leaving.

No drinking, no smoking or vaping.

Additional Charges Policy
To ensure our property remains in excellent condition for all guests, the following charges may apply if necessary:

Trash Disposal Fee: $100
(Charged if trash is not disposed of properly according to the house rules.)

Pet Waste Cleanup Fee: $50
(Charged if pet waste is not picked up and disposed of by guests.)

Unauthorized Late Check-Out Fee: $50 per hour
(Applies if guests fail to check out at the agreed-upon time without prior approval.)

-House Rules: Cleaning Policy for Long-Term Stays

For all bookings of 30 days or more, professional cleanings will be required every 14 days. This ensures the property remains well-maintained and comfortable throughout your stay.
The cleaning fee will be charged separately for each scheduled cleaning.
Guests will be notified in advance to coordinate the timing of the cleaning service.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request. Depending on the situation, there may be a fee. Please ask the night before checking in or at least 5 hours before checking out so we can coordinate properly.
