UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS!

Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Cj's Ocean Oasis, located in the heart of Pacific Beach near the Law Street Bluff.

This lovely lower story duplex home is just 5 blocks from the beach and has an ocean view patio area, allowing you to fully enjoy the California lifestyle! On your patio there is an outdoor shower, patio chairs, an umbrella and a BBQ so your evenings and afternoons can be spent relaxing at home listening to the sound of the waves. Upon entering Cj's Ocean Oasis there is a comfortable living room with high ceilings, exposed beams, plenty of natural light and a new 50 inch high resolution flat screen TV. There are two portable AC units, a 12K BTU unit is in the living room and a 10K BTU unit is in the bedroom. The bedroom also has a large flat screen HD TV. A queen sofa bed with an upgraded gel-infused memory foam mattress allows for extra sleeping room. The kitchen has hardwood cabinets, granite countertops, appliances, utensils, and everything you need for cooking and eating at home around the dining table for four. The bedroom has a sumptuous pillow top king size bed with a large flat screen TV.

We provide two adult beach cruiser bicycles for exploring the miles of boardwalk beginning at Law Street and running along the ocean and 4,000 acre Mission Bay Park. You can walk the short 1/2 block to the beach with the provided beach chairs, towels, and sand toys and spend the day. Nearby there is Palisades Park, which was voted best beach overlook for watching the sunsets and the surfers. It is only minutes away from SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent restaurants, Belmont Park and it's authentic 1920's wooden roller coaster, Seaport Village, downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. Please contact us with any questions.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.

Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

We were thrilled to be one block from the beach in this amazing duplex. The space was so attractive with absolutely everything we needed - including coolers, beach chairs, toys, games and bikes. The apt. Was well equipped, only quibble was the lack of any food storage items like plastic wrap or foil and no laundry soap. Instructions were complete and we really appreciate the San Diego guide as well. We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi but the team was super responsive. Highly recommend this listing. We will definitely be back.

We loved it! Block and a half from the Pacific Ocean, you had a great view from the living room also. Place was clean and well decorated. They also provided a place to park a vehicle, which was very important as street parking was generally very utilized as to the proximity of the beach,

Front portion of a house a 30 second walk to the boardwalk and beach. Perfect size for a couple. Palisades park is right down the street where locals gather every night for sunset, yoga, and sometimes a live DJ. Within walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our stay. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. The absolute only blemish: It would be nice to check in two hours early without having to pay extra—since we knew no one was staying here the day before.

We came to San Diego by train and didn’t rent a car—but we didn’t feel like we needed one staying here! We could walk to food, coffee, and of course the beach. This spot is located right at the top of the PB pier, making it easy for morning strolls or bike rides. Also east to bike down to Mission Bay! Wonderful restaurants are within a stone’s throw. The property itself had great windows in the living room, opening the place up, and a great patio! Would stay again!

So close to the beach, where people gather for sunset every night—complete with yoga, dogs, cyclists, surfers. Lovely beachfront walkway to eateries, and be sure to check out the restaurants on Cass. The overall vibe is laid back, and it’s close to both La Jolla and the downtown happenings. The property is neat and clean, and the living room is darling. We loved the closet and drawer spaces to stash our clothes. Bed is a comfortable king, and everything works, from laundry to kitchen to heating units. Recommended.

Wunderbare Lage in gemütlicher Wohnung und allem , was man braucht ! Das Bett ist gut ( etwas weich für mich ), die Ausziehcouch ebenfalls . Es ist trotz der Nähe zum beliebten Strand sehr ruhig, es gibt einen Grill und kleine Terasse vorne, auf die ab spätnachmittag die Sonne kommt. Die Fenster sind etwas umständlich zu öffnen/schliessen und die Scheiben könnten mal geputzt werden. Es ist eine Strand-/ Ferienunterkunft mit viel Komfort und sogar 2 Fahrrädern und Board. Die Agentur ist sehr gut erreichbar und immer hilfsbereit.
