The response time over text was great. However, I didn't like being bothered about having to be home to get the trash bins out. There's got to be a better way to do it. I was out to dinner with my family and the disruption was unwelcome.

The location for this property is fantastic. Layout is great, gorgeous views. I would love to give 5 stars however, there were basic amenities that were not working like TVs, oven, leaky freezer. I expect these things to work by default and not have to spend my vacation time having to contact the property management company to fix these things. Especially given the cost. On the bright side, the management company was very responsive and the repair tech was professional and efficient.

Graduation Getaway

Our family of 6 spent a wonderful week in this beach front home. The house condo was very clean and contained everything we need for our stay. The view delivered all they promised. We were in walking distance to Belmont Park and several restaurants. The bedrooms were nicely decorated as seen in the pics, and the beds very comfortable. Based on on reading prior reviews we knew that we would have to play a little parking shuffle with our SUV. We made a conscious decision to do so, because this rentsl checked all our our boxes. It turned out to not be that bad. We were able to find parking, and Fri-Sun no shuffle required! There is some damage in the master bathroom ceiling. It was covered. It had zero impact on our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location and property

Incredible condo and location, perfect for families. When we got there the hot water wasn’t working and bluewater responded promptly (despite it being after hours) and came to address the issue. Well-equipped kitchen (including sharp knives which is a rare and much appreciated find). As a heads up to others the only seasoning/cooking ingredient is a small thing of salt. This wasn’t problematic, just more an fyi if planning to cook these will need to be retrieved. Overall impeccable experience, fantastic way to experience San Diego

Great location

Amazing location near Belmont Park and ocean front. Amenities in the home were everything we could have needed though we were happy to have our own beach chairs as the ones provided were a bit rusty. The construction nearby wasn’t an issue at all. Be aware that the garage space is tight - we couldn’t fit our Sienna and parked on the street.

What A Mission

One of the houses I saw in November, when I visited and I was actually able to stay here. Loved it so much I tried to rent it again this coming November. I did not work, but I am happy with the experience.

Awesome View!

Fantastic location! Very clean. There were 6 in our family with two seniors in their late 70's. Easy back access, one flight of stairs with a hand railing. Short walk to Belmont Park and other restaurants. Quiet area, condo had everything we needed. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms. Easy check-in (able to check-in early) easy checkout. The Bluewater hosts responded quickly to questions and checked on how things were going. Much appreciated.

As advertised!

Great location, property was advertised, clean, owners/property managers were easy to work with, organized and communicated effectively. Believe this was called out in property description, but good to note that both second and third floor balconies are shared with your neighbors. Patios doors don’t have screen doors, so leaving patio sliding glass doors open at night isn’t an safe option. Great property and stay!

look carefully

the location on the beach was wonderful, but there are a couple of issues. "sleeps 8" should be revised to 4 adults + 4 kids (or very short adults) hot water was an issue: in two bathrooms it took 4 -5 mnutes of running to get it and in the 3rd I gave up. Oddly it was plentiful in most of the sinks. Not good for onservation

A lovely stay!

We enjoyed our vacation at this property. Everything was beautiful, clean, and to be expected. This is an observation, not necessarily a complaint: I would have loved more towels and blankets in the home. Especially since we were in the colder weather of the year. One towel per person is not enough and it is not convenient to use the washer and dryer that it not accessible through the house. Also, 10a checkout is too early, should be 11 or 12n, considering the amount of cleaning required by tenants exiting the rental. Would have also preferred an earlier check in time, 4p is too late.

Beautiful view of the ocean, steep stairs

The view is what you are paying for, which is stunning. The house was very nice, and the beds were moderately comfortable. Location is great for walking out to the boardwalk and onto the sand. Modern aesthetic and very nice. However, the pictures do not show the very steep 15-step stairs you have to climb to get to the front door from the garage. If you are older or have any physical issues, I do not recommend this location. Guests should have a fair warning of what they are going to have to carry all of their luggage up to get to the door. Garage is very small. My Honda Civic barely fit in the garage. I had to park at an angle after everyone else got out first in order to open the door. Bring ant spray, because they are everywhere. We had some issues with check in as the garage remote was not left on the counter for us, and also the television in the front room did not work. Communication with Bluewater Vacation Rentals was professional and they were able to find a temporary solution for the garage, and they had to replace the television the next day, which isn’t unreasonable, considering. Overall, this is a lovely rental with amazing views that younger families would enjoy.

Won't rent again from VRBO!!!!

Getting in and out of our place was difficult. Codes they gave us, did not always work. Couldn't get the garage code when some of the family left with the garage door opener, can't do laundry if you can't get in the garage! Location of washer and dryer was very difficult to get to and the machines were filthy. We are TV watchers' and the TV's weren't working when we got there. Tried to call on Sat. evening and got a message with a number to call. Tried the number, was told the mailbox was full and click. We finally got the TV fixed on Tuesday after 5 different techs showed up! We lost a major part of the day waiting for people to come and go. The light in the entry way never worked. Going up the stairs at night was very difficult. They were notified on Saturday and a number more times during our stay.. On Friday, a tech showed up, couldn't get it fixed, but put in a light that was movement activated. Please don't get me wrong, the location was wonderful and our grandchildren loved it. As a senior citizen, I didn't appreciate all the time spent waiting to get things fixed. I am still waiting for someone to tell me what kind of credit refund we are getting!

Wonderful stay

We loved everything about this home, including the location and rental agency. They were easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. View was amazing and much better in person. Enjoyed people watching from the deck and restaurants were an easy stroll away. Home felt very clean and was nice to have good quality kitchen supplies. Great stay for families. We already booked our next return.

Incredible property and service!

Wonderful location right on Mission Beach half a block from Belmont Park. The listing was true to the actual experience. Check-in was easy, and Bluewater stayed in constant contact. One note: garage will not accommodate a standard SUV. Perhaps an intermediate one (Honda CR-V, Toyot Rav4) but nothing larger.
