Best week ever

I could write a whole essay about how great was service provided by Novella. She was ULTRA responsive, very positive and gave us all the information we needed. There were some minor problems but she solved them all within minutes. From making reservation, online payment, form filling, through arriving at the villa to garbage disposal everything went smooth. Thanks to Novella it was a truly relaxing time. Villa was great, especially the area outside, the view and the pool were 10/10. Interior felt little outdated but it had a lot of soul and coziness. All the additional accessories were great - high quality pillows, towels, shampoos, soaps. Everything was high quality. Beds were very comfortable. Best week ever!

A wonderfull place to be and to Come back again

The view: to look at lake Garda and acrosd the city of Salo, especially in the evening.But also the architecture of the garden and the locaties of the swimmingpool How to get the way to the villa Barbara. We finf out that the neighbourhood is not familiair with the name villa Barbara.

Fantastic villa and view

Villa Barbara was all what we hoped for. Fantastic location with full view to Lake Garda and Salo' - yet very private and exclusive. Walking distance to Salo' (30 min.) with an uphill which is challenging, but ok. We were in particular amazed with the garden and pool area, however also the standand of outdoor furniture and equipment in kitchen was much higher than what you usually experience with rental villas in Europe. Last but not least - we experienced a fantastic service from Novella in Holiday Garda. And we can also highly recommend chéf Josephine, who on more occasions spoiled us with her cooking. Not much - however fridge and freezer capacity could be better for a villa of this size.

Nicht zu empfehlen

Absolut überteuert.Das Haus ist innen veraltet und ungepflegt. Möbel teilweise kaputt, nicht zu benutzen. Der Zugang zum Haus total beschwerlich, nichts für Ältere, oder Leute mit Gehproblemen. Völlig außerhalb gelegen. Nie wieder!!!

Super tolle Villa aus den 80 er Jahren, alkes toll bewachsen, großzügig Mega -Pool. Holiday-Garda ist sehr zu empfehlen!!

Très bon séjour mais..

L'emplacement est top, la vue et la piscine incroyables. Le gérant est très réactif. Cependant la maison pour 1000 euros par jour mérite un peu de rafraîchissement. Quelques soucis électriques bien gérés par holidays garda. Par contre de gros problèmes concernant la pression d'eau une grande partie de la journée. Nous étions 9 et prendre des douches et se laver les cheveux avec un filet d'eau était insupportable. Il faut absolument régler ce problème car le reste est top.

Great holiday at Villa Barbara

The service was very very good. The views exceptional. The swimming pool excellent. The property was generally good, particularly considering the position of the property on the edge of such a beautiful lake with Salo a short drive away with all the lovely cafes and shops and comparatively, the cost of hiring the villa. The Plumbing and Electrics need some serious attention. We had a Gas engineer as a guest so we didn't need to keep reporting everything. For example the electrics kept tripping out particularly if you used the dishwasher at the same time of using the air conditioning in two of the bedrooms, our guest could sort that out. . The en suit in the main bedroom the shower only produced hot water if you ran the basin hot tap. The tray didn't drain properly. The flush in the main bathroom was so fierce water flew over the edge of pan when flushed. There were also other minor irritations.

Great service from Novella when we had problems, no hot water, no water! and a broken dishwasher. Villa was very “tired” very dated decor which made the rooms very dark but spectacular views and a great location

The villa, the pool and the wonderful view Some of the beds, for example in the blue bedroom upstairs, are very soft and not really comfortable for heavier adults.
