The good: Beautiful building, background and breakfast. The bad: host that work from 8-6pm is terrible, rude and not helpful at all. If you are planning on sleeping three people in the second floor with a nook specially in the summer, rethink this. The nook is extremely hot, impossible to sleep. We ended up sleeping two people on the bed and the other in the floor. Thai is not acceptable. Overall I would stay in the same area but different hotel or bed and breakfast.

Review for La Perla Hotel La Perla is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The property is private, deeded, and very well maintained, with landscaping that makes the whole space feel calm and inviting. My room was spotless, spacious, and everything worked exactly as it should. The shower had strong water pressure, which I appreciated after a long day of wine tasting. The hotel has a nice pool, a breakfast area in the mornings, and even offers wines you can purchase on site. It is quiet, isolated, and very secure, so you really feel like you’re getting away from everything. The customer service team was great the entire time and made the stay even better. Highly recommend if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxing spot in the region.

The staff here is all exceptionally friendly and keep the hotel very clean. The breakfast offerings are delicious and plentiful. The beds are comfortable and there is a variety of pillows from which to choose. I highly recommend, and if you go, please say hello to the owners, Lorena and Piero.

A lovely spot on the edge of town, great place to recharge or base a winetasting trip. Don’t miss a dip in the pool on a hot day - so refreshing!

Relaxing hotel close to Santa Cruz

Excellent friendly staff! Grounds are well maintained and peaceful atmosphere. Good breakfast - lacks a bar (but can buy drinks from reception). We had a balcony room - was great but decor slightly dated. We hired bikes from hotel (okay and came with helmets) - it is about 40 mins cycle to main wineries - sadly some of the route is fast roads (Uber is very cheap however). Would stay here again!

Cosy hotel with wonderful staff

Excellent customer service, brand new facilities and delicious breakfast. The hotel staff were genuinely helpful and really made us feel like home! This is the kind of hotel we would gladly come back to when visiting Santa Cruz.

Poor Facilities, great breakfast.

We stayed here and unfortunately the hotel did not match the reviews. We got to the hotel and checked in quickly, but after arriving and a long day of travelling we wanted to freshen up in the Whirlpool bath we specifically booked. Unfortunately there was no hot water. I raised this immediately to reception who spent the next 2 hours tryingto fix it without luck. I asked to be moved rooms and they did not allow this, despite there only being 3 other rooms booked in that day (out of at least 12) I was promised it would be fixed, but it never did. The bathroom had serious signs of damp and was permanently cold, and at no point during our stay did we get hot water. Upon checkout the hotel tried to charge even more than the booked rate on hotels.com at which point I had to negotiate them down to a lower rate and this took over 30 minutes to complete. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful, but really moving me to another room that worked would have been the most helpful thing they could do, or just allow me to stay in another hotel. The rate I paid was still far too much and if you're paying full price, don't bother it isn't justified.

Hotel Bonito mas,,, precisa melhorar

O Hotel é bonito, localizado num terreno grande e muito bonito (mas um pouco afastado da cidade). O quarto é espaçoso, com varanda agradável. Piscina externa muito boa (embora não tenhamos utilizado). Já o banheiro precisa melhorar muito. Chuveiro com mais de 70% dos furos entupidos (quase não sei água) - limpeza ou manutenção? Cheiro de esgoto. Nenhuma preocupação com o desperdício de água. O chuveiro (ou torneira) precisa ficar aberto por uns 5 minutos ou mais para a água quente chegar (um desperdício). Café da manhã bem simples, embora correto. Caro para o que oferece.

La habitación tenía una cama en la parte superior cerca del techo, pero hacía mucho calor, así que tuve que poner el colchón en el suelo al lado de la cama porque era más fresco y agradable con el aire encendido. Además, el desayuno es delicioso, pero no hay comidas por la noche.
