There is so much to love about this house. Every corner of it is a visual treat, full of interesting art and whimsical details. The garden is a beautiful oasis that wraps the house in lush privacy. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds drink from the fox gloves and other flowers each morning.
As lovely as the house is on its own, the view is even more impressive. You can see most of the city from the master bedroom balcony, including the Golden Gate Bridge.
The rooms were comfortably spacious. Beds, linens, and towels were fresh and clean. The kitchen was a delight to cook in.
The location was perfect for us. It was an easy walk to Golden Gate Park (although I would Uber back up the hill next time.) We took quick Ubers to Fisherman's Warf and Chinatown, and the drive to Muir Woods was only 30 minutes.
The best thing about the location, however, is how quiet the neighborhood is at night. We slept very well, even with the windows open.
The hosts were gracious and responsive to our needs. They even left a puzzle for our family to work on during our visit.
I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a true San Francisco experience.
