Clean and convenient, but with strange smell
This hotel offered me a quite clean room, and its location is nice, close to Costo, Trader's Joe and also down town. What a pity is that there is no nice restaurant near it, so eating may be a problem. What bothered me are two problems: 1. There has always been a strange smell in the room from the moment I entered it. This smell was really awful and made me feel dizzy. 2. The wifi was terrible and really slow, and often broke down.

Can’t beat location for proximity to SOMA bars. Shower had amazing water pressure. Lack of outlets for phone charging and CPAP. Pool was closed for entirety of stay. Noisy outside noise and some sketchy characters around

Staff not nice, not helpful. Dirty rooms. noise from the street. The room is not cleaned every day. There are no towels in the room if you don't ask. Very expensive and inconvenient parking. A feeling of insecurity in the room.

I had the do not disturb sign on my door and room service still tried to get into my room. Thankfully i had the chain lock on the door as well. It was both scary and creepy though because whoever opened my door kept it open for a minute or so before closing it again. I didn’t react right away or even say anything because I got woken up by it and being a woman by myself in the room deterred me to do so as well. Every night there was a homeless person screaming outside the hotel about going in the rooms and hurting people. The walls are so thin that you can hear people in the other rooms just talking. The room itself was clean when we got it which was good. The closet did smell bad though like kind of wet and dusty. I wouldn’t suggest to walk around this area at night by yourself at all. It is conveniently close to a lot of fun spots, but even for the 2-4 min drive I preferred to take an uber. The people at the front desk were nice though. The blankets are very thin like close to being a couple bed cover sheets. So i would suggest to bring your own or you could bring up the heat in the room. The bedroom has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. This place does have a parking area that you can pay additionally to park. The price was about $22 a night. You drive through the entrance and the parking is towards the back and is closed off from the streets which is nice. Since the parking lot is accessible at all hours though I would still suggest to clear out your car.

Broken ice machine and vending machines. No breakfast. My room was big but only had 1 chair. Rooms that size should have a loveseat or at least multiple chairs. Front desk staff was nice but couldn't reach the night shift front desk person when i needed ice and water.

Me hospedé con mi familia (4 personas) y estuvimos por 4 noches, en general la ubicación del hotel es buena, esta cerca del centro y a 3 cuadras del tranvía, autobuses y metro, sin embargo tener cuidado cuando caminas por la tarde-noche (después de las 6PM) al hotel por la zona, ya que a pocas cuadras entre las calles Mision St y Howard St que están sobre la misma Ave 9 del hotel (hacia el centro), hay mucho mendigos y drogadictos (tener cuidado para no exponerse de un asalto). La atención en general del servicio del Hotel fue buena y en español, lo que no me gustó fue que el parqueo del Hotel no está incluido en el precio de la reserva y hubo que pagar alrededor de $12 extras por día, la limpieza de la habitación fue buena cuando la recibimos, sin embargo hubo que pedir en la recepción que la limpiaran para los siguientes días, la piscina estaba cerrada, las máquinas de hielo y de vending machine estaban malas, la habitación que nos dieron fue la 119 y colinda con un calle trasera que por las noches hay mucho ruido externo, por ejemplo la máquina que pasa limpiando las cunetas, las peleadas entre mendigos y oficinistas que salen tarde del trabajo y que hablaban muy duro.

Overall great
Conveniently located around a lot of food and nightlife. I stayed 2 days for a rave with friends and was thoroughly satisfied with the friendly staff, the size of the room and its amenities. I love that there is on site parking inside a gated area too. Overall we had a great stay.

close to bill graham. 12 min walk. Simple hotel. No lamp shades on the lamps tho. Black mold spots hidden under paint in the restroom. Stayed for two nights.overall decent for events if u just need a spot to lay ur head after an event/concert/rave. They dont accept chime or any of those type of cards either so expect to have a real bank card like wells fargo, us bank, excetera.
