非常便捷的交通，熱心的服務人員，舒適的房間

能夠以合理的價格，訂購到位置如此優良的飯店，不但離POWELL station非常近，也不用走上坡路，服務人員也很熱心，還能免費寄放行李，實在是令人感到相當愉快。我們住在沒有面對powell street的房間，因此晚上也很安靜的，因此個人相當推薦這間飯店。

絕佳地點, 200 公尺內即是Powell Station. 交通非常便利. 附近店家也不少, 過兩個路口即是 Union Square. 唯獨房間內空間稍小, 兩個大行李箱要同時打開都稍嫌困難.

Easy public transportation and shopping, extra pay

The best thing is transportation. It's easy to go to the airport by BART (8.95USD). The hotel just locates at the BART station. The main station of cable car is just in front of the hotel. Lots of bus pass by as well. It's a good place for travelers who take public transportations, but not self driving. There are very limited and expensive parking near by. For the hotel itself, the wall and ceiling can't isolate noise. You can hear lots of noise in the very late night and the early morning. The room is small, but it's enough for 2 people. If you only look for a place to sleep, then this is a choice. By the way, the heater was a little bit not good smelling. Shopping is quite convenient here. Lots of department stores here, such as North storm, Macy, H&M, uniqulo, walesgreen, and so on. If you go back at 11, there are still lots of people on there road, and also the homeless. The stuff who helped us to check in may not so familiar, he spent some time to finish. The worst thing is he didn't tell us to pay the instruction fee by California law. That's 15 USD per night. We were asked for the "extra" payment, i.e. except for the total payment showed on confirmation page by hotels.com, when we checked out.

I was informed upon arrival that I couldn't stay due to them being a pop-up homeless shelter. I never received any form of communication alerting me to this, nobody is at the phone at the hotel to even check this, and now they're refusing to refund me the $610.41 I paid to stay there. Not until we arrived did I learn that there was a $30 per night 'facilities fee'. Also I had to pay $40 per day for parking, while most places around provided parking with a room. So when you're looking at the price here add $70 per day if you want to compare apples to apples.

Hotel was not able to accommodate checking in early, which OK not a guarantee with hotels. When we did finally get to check in there were no towels, our room was tiny, stains on all over the carpet (bring slippers!), & the bathroom setup did not make sense. It had a tiny sink with an oversized faucet so water would get all over the floor when you used it. Also, the toilet paper post was practically on the floor so it’s an awkward stretch from the toilet. The room gets very cold at night, no adjustable thermostat in the room which is ridiculous! When we asked the front desk about they said they would try and find us a portable heater - never received one. I would avoid this hotel at all costs! Pay whatever it is to stay at a decent place.

Awful, first room, No widow, over 95degrees, a closet with a bed stuck in it. Terrible not at all like the photo. Staff assisted the second room, better, again no window. Floow ac unit blowing air into the room. Needless to say, I fell ill the next day with an awful sinus infection. Photos are a misrepresentation of the rooms.Hotel staff was super nice. All in all.

Have to illegally go down a street to access property per staff. Also staff does not answer phones at thw front desk and waited for 30 minutes on hold fpr a manager when they hung up on me. Rooms are extremely small.

The staff was awful and rude. Upon check in they were pleasant. We then called later for instruction on their valet and they could not answer our questions and were put off they we were even asking. Then asked face to face and the receptionist told us to not drive. So rude and inappropriate.

Next time just don’t drive.

I wish I could talk about exceptional service except it’s only how exceptionally horrid it was. We arrived in the evening for our check in and could not find where to park to use the valet service so we called the hotel. After asking for our number and confirming we had a reservation, the front desk staff was unable to tell us where to park or how to take advantage of this service. We were told to take down a number and call someone else who might be able to hep us. They were also not able to tell us. We found the nearest parking garage that allowed overnight parking and carried our luggage the block and a half. The coup de grâce was the next morning when asking about the said valet service while we checked out. The exceptional staff told us we should have ignored all posted road signs and turned down the street illegally and park illegally. That statement was then followed up with the excellent advice of “Next time just don’t drive.”
