We payed $300 for a room and we called in advance to make sure they had our room ready and everything they said yes and when we got there after driving 5 hours we want to rest and lay down first it was that they don’t have a private bathroom and we said it was ok and then we asked for a room without a private bathroom and they said they don’t have any rooms available HOWWWWWWWW????? we asked for a solution and they didn’t helped us at all and the guy was talking to a with our face with his mouth full of food

The room was cute and very clean. There were enough bathrooms down the hall, with large, clean walk-in showers. There were hangers in the closet, a hair dryer, and an ironing board with iron. However, the place was also very odd. There was not a single cup or mug in the room, and no sign of the promised coffeemaker. The photos show a breakfast buffet, but there is no breakfast, no coffee, no tea, nothing. And, to top it off, there was no heat. The in-room ancient steam radiator was cold to the touch on both of my visits to this hotel. It was 60 degrees outside, so not terrible, but I was chilly in the room. Civic Center is a difficult neighborhood. There are a lot of unhoused people living rough on the street, right next to expensive high rise luxury apartments and condos. If you are alert and comfortable in an urban environment, it's fine, but some people will feel unsafe.

Don’t stay here
Very bad customer service, and the room had a strong spice smell in it, bathroom didn’t even come with free hand soap. DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Lock on shared bathroom broken, trash was never emptied, elevator seems like it 1000 years old and the safety cert was expired by more than 2 years.

Amoung the worst hotels we have ever stayed at.
Terrible hotel. The hotel is difficult to find. There is no parking at the hotel and no drop off. We had circled the area for an hour trying to find the place. There is a parking structure a city block away. If you have luggage, be prepared to drag it with you. The parking structure is valet only and costs 50 dollar to park overnight. When we finally found the hotel, the doors were locked. We almost gave up knocking when someone eventually let us in. The area is dirty and homeless people everywhere. That's probably why the front door is kept locked. The hotel has wifi which seems exceptable but that is about it. There is no coffee maker. House keeping never came to clean the room. No heating or air-conditioning. Windows open but screens were missing. We had a toilet and shower but the sink is outside the bathroom. The elevator is rattley and a little scary. Our biggest complaint is the absense of parking and drop off. Don't come here if you are driving. We will never return to this hotel.

Affordable and convenient but not impressed
Came to San Francisco for an overnight stay. We had a wedding to attend at city hall which was around the corner from the hotel. So the location was convenient. The hotel had no parking structure so that was a little frustrating circling the area to find the hotel on a street that didn’t let you drive up to the hotel. There is a parking garage across the street that’s kinda hidden to get into. The hotel its self is older and needs to be updated. We reserved a king bed room and ended up in a queen. The bathroom was small and no proper ventilation so the whole room gets muggy when someone shower. The water situation in the shower is another issue in itself. The pressure drops out of no where then comes back out again. We had water damage spots right above our bed that looked questionable. The floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed. So if you’re looking for a hotel that’s cheap and close to the courthouse this hotel was ok for one night if you’re not picky. But definitely read the reviews and look around the area first before booking cuz we were disappointed after our stay
