If you can fight for bad smell and perons

Indeed the hotel is overall good. However, it locates at Minna Street and 6th Street where are the most popular places for homeless, drugs abusers, mental illness. They always have bad smell and strange eyes. If you don’t mind, your hotel experience will be totally fine. Sorry I can’t

Minna Hotel - Not up to promise as shown in pics

We booked this hotel as there other hotel options are pricey in San Francisco and not that close to the main attractions in the Bay area. The street is located in the area where the homeless are around and so the street is smelly and dirty - you get to see the real side of SF though. But one street away, there are shops with different brands. Generally speaking, as long as you are lucky enough, you dont need to wait for taking a shower - there is only one shared bathroom and toilet in the corridor and the lift is not working from time to time - we have to walk down to the lobby for one time. The room is quite confined and there arent much space for us to move around. Cleaniness-wise, my friend said she saw a mouse running from the lift area to a room once! Though I would say the breakfast is okay as they have apples and oranges provided and you can ask for hot water from staff for cupnoodles at night. Wifi is not that stable.

位置很好，但是附近很多流浪漢，街道都是很不好聞的味道。 飯店大廳跟廚房都很明亮乾淨，但是房間裡面有怪味，地板地毯看起來也很髒。房間應該是老舊房子改建的，跟網站上的照片完全不同。 隔音超級差，可以聽到隔壁看電視及睡覺的聲音。 夏天沒有空調，室內只有暖氣。 浴室很小間，沒有放東西的地方，只有牆壁上一小格，但是裡面很濕。 有提供早餐很不錯。 員工很親切。 價格在舊金山相對便宜，但是質感真的很不好。 本來預計在這裡住三個晚上，但是環境太糟糕，住一晚就退房了。

war bereits mehrmals hier, aber bei diesem Aufenthalt war es nur noch eine Absteige .Die Bäder dreckig, die Armaturen und seifenspeder abgerissen, Zwielichtige Gäste , dreckige Wände wo man nicht weiß ob es Dreck oder Blut ist, dreckige Bettlaken und Lärm die ganze Nacht in den Zimmern , Aiufzug defeckt , Kein Frühstück mehr , der letzte Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel !

Thought the hotel would be decent.

I hated that I could see stains on the bedsheets and pillow. I hated my room smelled like weed and cigarette, it was so bad I had to sleep with my mask on. I was so disgusted, I made sure to check out as early as possible. I am never coming back!

You get what you pay for

The price was good. It was an alright place to crash nothing special. Lots of broken things including the elevator which meant walking up four flights of stairs every time you left. Neighborhood was a dump for sure.

Superior Service!

I chose to book my stay at the Minna Hotel last week because of It’s modern chic aesthetic within walking distance to Bart while being extremely fair priced for an expensive city like San Francisco. As amazing as it was to find a hotel that had perfect balance of style, location, and price I am writing this review based on the exceptional service I experienced while staying there. I was very nervous about traveling last week because of both COVID-19 and the riots that have swept across the nation. The hotel has done an exceptional job at keeping a clean and Safe environment for its guests. The lobby had a 24/hr front desk that is enclosed in floor to ceiling glass which allows the staff to maintain safe social distances while still feeling as tho you are talking face to face. Alex, who worked the night shift, was extremely helpful at Helping me navigate the city during this time by offering recommendations for restaurants nearby that where open for take out. Overall the entire staff was very polite and respectful during this stressful time in the nation.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I don't mind staying in SOMA on 6th st (one of the worst areas in the city in terms of homelessness and poverty), but this hotel was disgusting. The hallways smelled like a morgue. The smell reminded me of when I would visit my grandma at her assisted living facility where very old people who were dying made up the residency (the smell of death). I believe that this is a hotel is where people bring prostitutes to have sex. I could of even looked past all of that. The thing that really upset me was when I got a towel that had stains on it (yes, stains. Super gross!) and I went down to the front desk to ask for a new one because the phone in my room didn't work. When I asked the front desk attendant he said that he couldn't because he was too busy. This was upsetting because he was on the phone watching TV. My room had no openable window or air conditioning so the room was super stuffy and hot. Honestly, this is more of a hostel than a hotel. People were hella loud as well. Overall, this was an awful experience and I would never recommend anyone to stay here unless they needed a cheap place to bring a prostitute.
