“The condition of the property was excellent. Clean, warm, and welcoming inside. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the shower in the master bedroom was wonderful. One minor problem: the second bathroom didn't have an electrical outlet, so could not run the hair dryer. “I'll start with the positive. Beautiful spot and very close to shops and dining. About a 50 minute drive up to the main attractions in Squoia and 30 minutes from Visilia. Bed was very comfy and AC worked great! Now for the "could be better" part. The checkin process requires several additional steps through a seperate website from VRBO. “My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were……

“Yurt was as expected and pictured on listing. The bathroom was a little further than expected (and slightly uphill) which could make it difficult for someone who needs to go in the middle of the night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this unique experience. I wish I would've know there was a mini-fridge, a microwave and some other kitchen items in the unit - we would've planned a dinner around that. A great location for visiting Sequoia. ”
