「Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. 」

「It's a bad experience, I'm a businessman who stays in hotels a lot, and they call you out early, even if it's not the check-out time, the pillows are hard, even though there are four of them, none of them can sleep, they put the coffee machine in the toilet room.」

「The hotel was built around 1923, so the layout is from back in the day and pretty interesting. I got the Bluebonnet Room, which is just that - a single small room. No toilet or shower, which are down the hall a few steps. Maybe the suites have those, I'm not sure. The room did have a sink, but the hot water faucet was not working.
