Perfect Umbria location

We spent a week in this lovely house. Excellent location for day trips. Great views to enjoy in the morning and evening. Very comfortable beds! Had a great time.

A little chilly but very nice -

We really enjoyed our stay at Case Nucci. Riccardo is friendly, helpful and a great host. The location is perfect to visit Perugia, Assisi and other fabulous hill towns. The mattresses and bed linens were outstanding. Per government regulations (Ukraine war) there wasn’t any heat during our stay so the evenings were chilly. Making a fire was the only option, the wood was an extra charge every evening that that was unexpected. Kitchen essentials would have been appreciated. Overall score is 4.2. It would not take much to be a 5!

Magnifico casale in collina arredato con gusto

La proprietà si trova in una zona tranquilla con vista panoramica fino a Perugia. Curata nei particolari e dotata di tutti i comfort. Talmente bella che abbiamo rinunciato ad una gita programmata per goderci in tranquillità la piscina ed il giardino. Proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile. Un paradiso.

Great Stay in a Historic Mill

We had the privilege of stay in Il Granaio, a historic building from the 19th century that housed a mill. It has been nicely updated by the Nucci family. Riccardo greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property. The apartment is quite large with nice bedrooms and baths. A small fireplace in the living area made the evenings cosy. We were too late in the season to enjoy the pool, but the hot tub was great. Next to Il Granaio is another historic building belonging to the Nucci family. Riccardo showed us several aftifacts dating back several hundred years. He also displayed a nice selection of local wines plus their own limited edition of cold press olive oil. This showing was lovely bonus to our stay. The amazing city of Assisi, home of the St. Francis Basilica, is only a short 50 minute drive from Il Granaio. There are several fine restaurants close by to the property. We enjoyed a great family dinner at Hostería Matta in Marsciano - highly recommended! I’ll Granaio is a perfect spot for a wonderful family holiday in the Umbria countryside. Riccardo and the Nucci family will take good care of you.
