"A beautiful property and location. One of the reasons we chose the hotel was there was a restaurant in the hotel, because we have been traveling all day and did not want to leave the property . When we got there, we found out the restaurant was closed for a private function. The check-in attendant didn’t seem to be too warm and friendly and nobody was anywhere at checkout this morning when we left at 745. A positive was the Chef was outside doing some barbecue for the guests who could not use the restaurant and he was very friendly and his food was delicious."

"The inn is historic with a grand feel. The room was large and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Nice hot shower. Clean room. Food and service were great. The staff were professional and personable and made sure that you were happy with your stay. Would definitely return to this inn."

"Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, everything clean. Plenty to do on the property and beautiful nearby towns to visit. Style and amenities are a bit dated, but that hardly matters,considering the value. Ideal for families."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the free delicious breakfast! The lady working in the breakfast area was meticulous about replacing food/drinks when supply was running low, and she frequently cleaned up the serving areas and the tables in the dining area. I never saw her stop! The only complaint I have is that the AC unit in our room was really loud."
