Lookout for this great spot!

Fantastic stay! The lookout tower had everything you need for a getaway, and is one of the most cozy places we've had the pleasure to stay at.

Perfect little getaway spot.

Property was super clean and had everything that we needed to be able to enjoy our stay. Perfect location to get to town or Schweitzer, but also tucked in the trees so you felt like you were away from it all.

Couldn't have been better!

The property was very clean and organized. Everything worked as it should and there was a list of good restaurants in the area. We had a blast on our honeymoon and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Honeymoon Dream

We had a few small issues with the property but they were quick to be resolved and the property was truly incredible. Great location between the mountain and town. If we go back to Sandpoint we have accommodations covered.

Cozy but modern with insane views

My partner and our dog stayed in this cozy little lookout. The property was surprisingly big and remote, driving up to the unit was such a surreal experience, the living space was very cozy, the kitchen had very modern appliances, the bathroom was very nice and the shower was pretty insane, the deck that surrounded the exterior overlooked the incredibly beautiful views of the mountains off in the distance which provided us an amazing sunrise, and the hot tub was very warm. We'll defiantly make our way back to this property in the future.

Immaculate and Beautiful Views

Right when I walked in I could tell the thought and care that had been put into this property. It was spotless and had everything we needed! It was the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. The views were incredible and the hot tub was the extra icing on the cake.

Wonderful place to unwind

We just needed a place to get away and unwind, and this was perfect! The views were amazing, the hot tub on the deck was awesome, and it was stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and relax. We would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to explore Sandpoint/Schweitzer, but also just as a place to get away the hustle and bustle of life.

Unique & Comfortable for our ski adventure

My wife and I stayed here for a ski trip to Schweitzer. The lookout tower was a unique experience that we truly enjoyed. The tower is just big enough to have everything the 2 of us needed, and is very cozy.Close enough to Sandpoint for groceries / dinner. Only 20 minutes from Schweitzer, and even We had a full size AWD car rental, and I would not want to have anything less. The driveway to the tower is steep, but well maintained. The roads in the neighborhood and to Schweitzer are also well maintained, but winter mountain conditions exist.

Weekend Get Away

My husband and I stayed at Lookout Tower for the weekend. We loved the area. The road up had some tight turns but nothing we couldn't manage. We noticed the train noises while watching TV but they didn't wake us up at night. It was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect getaway

We had such a great stay in at the lookout tower. You can tell the owners/management really care about making your stay perfect. I was a little nervous when I booked the lookout tower because my husband and I are both tall (5’9 and 6’6). The unit is small but very space effective so it doesn’t feel cramped. This really is a great property and was perfect for our quick getaway to sandpoint!

Awesome honeymoon stay at Lookout Tower

My husband and I loved this location for our honeymoon. We highly recommend! Only downside was no A/C during the summer months but once we got a cross breeze going, it was not a problem. We would happily come back in the future ☺️

Such a gem!

This properly is truly such a gem! I love staying in unique places, but it is rare to find somewhere that merges unique characteristics with high quality design, finishes and appliances - but this place is just that! It is close to Schweitzer, Sandpoint and anywhere you want to go if you want to get out and explore, but also incredibly cozy if you want to relax and stay in to soak up the stunning views. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful setting!

This Firetower is everything that it’s made out to be on the website, and then some! Absolutely AMAZING views of Lake Pend Oreille and the surrounding mountains. The only downside is loud train traffic at the base of the hill, but otherwise very peaceful; a great rental to be sure! : )

Romantic Getaway

A beautiful escape in the tree tops. We enjoyed the view of Sandpoint and the Lake. We were lucky enough to be there on a beautiful summer day when a thunderstorm rolled in. The air was so fresh and the cabin is absolutely perfect. It is well stocked and has everything you need for a romantic getaway in the trees. The owners were very sweet and went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy cabin

Everything as advertised at the Lookout Tower. It was a very comfortable and cozy little cabin. The hot tub is perfect for two adults — I wouldn’t go for three or it would be a snug fit. We thought the bed was extremely comfortable. Water pressure was a little low but it gets the job done for showers! Everything was very clean and the WiFi was good for us. Nice mini appliances too and gas range. Definitely a nicer cabin kitchen! The wood stove/fireplace was a nice touch we used too.

Perfect Location Post Wedding

I came in town with my boyfriend to shoot a wedding at Schweitzer Lodge. We wanted to stay a couple more days and this location was perfect. Everything in this unit was top quality. Appreciated the laundry units. The train can be a bit loud but my boyfriend loved hearing it. The location is at the top of a steep hill but this was not an issue in the summer. The view was unbelievable.
