Fantastic Rental for a Group!

A fabulous week!

This house had all the space and activity a large group could ask for. We had adults, teens and kids who spent hours paddle boarding, bird watching - 3 bald eagles nest nearby, and playing in the yard and the game room. There were also two tiny new fawns who came through the property several times a day. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. You quickly get used to the train which passes frequently. The sounds of the ecosystem are truly incredible. Buzzing, chirping, humming all day and night. Bullfrogs, osprey, eagles, cranes, - it really was magical. The lake is very quiet and tranquil. The cove isn’t the best for swimming because there is quite a bit of vegetation in the water but it is perfect for SUP. We rented a boat but found the channel into the property far too shallow and despite being extremely careful we did cause some minor damage to the prop of the boat so I wouldn’t recommend it. There is a large stretch that is only about 2 feet deep. Overall the trip was fantastic. 10/10 would do again!

The inside of the house worked well with our group. The ample bedrooms and bathrooms were much appreciated. The kitchen worked out better than I thought it would. The outside shrubs and weeds need to be trimmed. And wasp nests, goose poop and patio furniture/area need maintenance

Christmas week at Schweitzer

Great week. Good location next to Sandpoint and easy access to Schweitzer for skiing. House had enough room with separate living spaces to host a larger family. A few items in the house need to be fixed (shower, garbage disposal, etc) but all in all great house!

Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. And even the separate apartment didn’t require a walk outside, its attached through the garage so close by. And the rec room upstairs had a toilet room too.

Family Senior Trip

The property was lovely and suited our 13 family members to a T. Separate spaces for teens in the group. Water was a little cold for water sports but we enjoyed the area very much - Sandpoint is very nice. We had 2 grandchildren graduate high school and we enjoy traveling together so we make it a family affair. Would love to come back here when water is warmer!!

Great property…besides the plumbing

The location, size and amenities of the house were fantastic! The only items that made the property a 4 out of 5 star were…the dishwasher, garbage disposal, and water in the bunk room didn’t work.

The inside of the house was great for our group. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, lots of places to sit and relax, and the kitchen was stocked with enough dishes. The outside of the property was very disappointing, however. You can see from the pictures that this is a great place to be outside, but what it actually looked like was not what was advertised. We had to clean the outside areas before we could actually enjoy them, and the lack of upkeep of the yard was something we just had to deal with. We spent a lot of money to be able to enjoy the outdoors during our stay but don’t feel like we got what we were expecting.

Amazing home for multiple families

This house had everything 7 families needed for a great memorable soccer weekend!!! Almost every room has their own private bathroom, the kitchen is stocked with anything you could need to cook big meals. The location is perfect and quite and so peaceful!! The only thing we wanted to add is that it took us 3 hours to find the 7th Master King Suite on the main floor level. It's located from a door in the garage. Truly an amazing home for multiple families to have enough room for all!! We will definitly be renting this home again next year!!!

Spacious and on the water, what a charmer!

This is a quirky but charming house. The private beach was perfect for spending time with our family by the water. The kitchen is truly stocked well (which is great!) but there was not a lot of room available for food storage. The beds were comfy and the house is very spacious, plenty of room for our large extended family vacation! We did have a few questions for the property management team and they were very prompt and friendly in helping us have the best possible stay. Five stars overall!

Almost perfect!

We really enjoyed our time at the house! It was very spacious and had all the rooms and bathrooms we needed, and obviously the view was great. A few issues we had that were inconvenient were: 1. The main kitchen stove didn't work (which we were made aware of ahead of time thankfully). Made meal prep for 20 people less efficient. 2. The gas furnace in the upstairs game room wouldn't work. Even talked through it with one of your people, but couldn't get it to work. We have a professional HVAC person in our group and he couldn't even determine the cause. Made that room cold, which relates to issue three. 3. Outlets in several bathrooms and bedrooms didn't work. This meant several people couldn't charge phones or use a hairdryer or plug in a space heater or a white noise maker for their kids to sleep, etc. 4. The house wasn't as clean as it could have been. Trash was found under some of the couches, and the dining room floor didn't appear to be swept. These things didn't entirely ruin the weekend by any means, but they were cause for some inconvenience on a weekend that was supposed to be a bit more stress free with all the necessary amenities available. I would definitely recommend this property to other people, and we may even use it again in the future. Especially if these things are addressed. Thank you!

Family vacation

A bathroom in every room was a big plus for our families. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The lake water was low, so we could not get a boat to the dock. I learned I should have made fishing boat tour reservations a couple months in advance. All in all a fantastic family vacation.

Mostly great. We enjoyed the place. I really only have one small complaint. The heating systems were cumbersome. Little heaters (newer area cadets) were easy enough. We couldn't figure out bonus area. We loved the place and would go again. We'd love a hot tub next time!
