Checked Straight out - so bad did not stay!!
We have a family of 4 (2 young boys 3 and 6). My wife and I have travelled all over the world in varying forms of accommodation and standard. This is by far one of the worst.
luckily we had a hire car as the owners expected us to drive to another town in midday heat with 2 children in a country we are unfamiliar with navigating to pick up the keys. There was no offer to meet at the property or in the town. The offices were not easy to find and took a good part of our day. If we didn’t have a car and arrived by transfer or bus we would have had no hope.
Once we were in possession of the keys we arrived at quite a scruffy apartment block with very unkept communal areas. The keys did not work in the front Gate or the door. We actually questioned if we had the right address and tried other doors! As it turned out the locks are just very poorly maintained and not correctly functioning.
Once inside we were devastated by the standard and cleanliness of the apartment especially for what we had paid. I could go into the details in this review but I would run out of characters. We took 40+ photos of the issues. The apartment was so dirty and had so many maintenance issues due to health and safety concerns we had no choice but to check into a nearby hotel especially with young children at further cost we could not afford. The host was very unhelpful and very slow responding, and VRBO equally unhelpful.
I strongly advise against this accommodation.
