We were under the impression based on the booking that this was so much more than the pictures. The “private beach” is not owned by the hotel and you must pay for beach access, an umbrella, sunbed, etc this was not clarified and the staff of the hotel that actually owned it were so rude. The spa is not actually a spa it’s a sauna and steam room with a small pool. It’s $20/hr to reserve and you can’t use it past 8pm. We were told we must reserve five hours in advance in order to use it so they could warm the pool water. When I was finally able to use the spa the water was freezing, when you’re expecting warm water and it’s 60degrees Fahrenheit it’s just disappointing. We were disappointed in the hotel definitely the worst hotel we stayed in during our month stay all over Italy.

Nice and clean hotel and rooms. The economy room is quite small. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is fine, but there is no much choice. Perfect location, near the beach, where you can get a discount because you are guest of the hotel.

I liked the warmth of all the staff we encountered including front desk, breakfast, room cleaners. I liked the public areas—lobby was airy, bright, comfortable. Had a courtyard and sheltered patio area with fruit trees and other lush plantings. Lots of tables and chairs. We used this area as a home base, bringing in food to share with others in the wedding party. We were down the street from an overlook park with 2 restaurants, with views of bay of Naples and Sorrento cliffs. Hotel had delicious breakfasts included and the rates (around May 20) were extremely reasonable. The rooms are small but efficient and very clean. Window had lovely view. We could walk to other restaurants and hotels, housing others in our party, were close by. The hotel could use handrails at the steps to the elevator. The area around the hotel is very old and not easily accessible.

Clean, friendly & comfy

Friendly greeting for our late night arrival. The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfy. Air con was perfect and not much outside noise. Set further aback from the main town centre, it took us about 25 mins to walk to the centre. The pavements along the way we’re sometimes very narrow or disappeared altogether. The other main road way was choked with traffic. Surprised how crowded Sorrento town centre was. Nice to get back to the hotel which is away from the crowds and there is a nice bar/restaurant at the end of the road which overlooks the med.

Kleines Hotel mit gutem Frühstück und Dachterrasse

Wir haben von diesem Hotel aus Sorrento und Umgebung erkundet. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr(!) klein. Dafür gibt es bequeme Sofas im Eingangsbereich, eine Terrasse vor dem Frühstücksraum und eine Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool. Das Frühstück zählte zu den besten, die wir in Italien hatten - es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gebäck, dazu Müsli und selbst etwas herzhaftes. Wenn man keinen Sandstrand in der Nähe sucht, ist das Hotel ideal um den Touristenmassen in Sorrento etwas zu entkommen und dennoch auch zu Fuß nach Sorrento zu kommen. Die teilweise angegebenen 20min sind vielleicht etwas optimistisch, aber in einer halben Stunde schafft man es bis in die (Alt-)Stadt

Gutes Hotel für ein Pärchenurlaub in Sorrento

Das Hotel liegt unweit der Küste in Sant Agnello, ca. 1.5km Entfernt von dem Stadtkern von Sorrento (20min zu Fuß). Eine Bushaltestelle ist unweit des Hotels. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind klein aber sauber. Es gibt eine Dachterasse mit Liegen und einem Whirlpool. Lediglich beim Frühstück könnte man für mein Empfinden mehr Auswahl und Abwechslung anbieten.
