Extremely Frustrating and Unprofessionally Managed StayThis was one of the most stressful vacation rentals we’ve ever experienced, and it completely failed to meet even basic expectations of safety, cleanliness, and management.Most seriously, the front door was broken and could not be locked for the entirety of our stay. This put our valuables at risk and was especially alarming since we were traveling with a toddler and a dog. Because the home could not be secured, an adult always had to stay behind, meaning we could never leave together. We repeatedly requested that a locksmith be sent to rekey or secure an alternate door, and no action was taken. The front door was never fixed.The cleanliness was also unacceptable. The home was very dusty, and the bathrooms smelled moldy. We ended up buying our own air purifiers and a steam mop and cleaning the floors ourselves just to feel comfortable staying there.The dishwasher was broken for three days, forcing us to use paper plates for every meal. When it was finally replaced, it happened during our stay, creating additional chaos, noise, and disruption. To make matters worse, the repair technician could not get in touch with the property manager, Truman, who was consistently unresponsive and unprofessional.Management issues were constant. Although we were scheduled to arrive Sunday night (and paid for that night), due to a family emergency we arrived Monday afternoon and still found a cleaning crew actively working. It was
