Wonderful Santa Barbara Home

The house and guest house were perfect. Clean, very well stocked with everything you needed. Bedrooms were all comfy cozy and the outside areas well thought out. The pool and hot tub were all amazing. We had a fabulous work retreat. We will be back again.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation on this property. There was everything we could imagine available to us... from spices, to towels and everything in between. Every single person in our party enjoyed their time on the property. There was also a lot to do only a short drive away. We hope to be back someday!

Our family came down to SB to celebrate several birthdays. The place was clean, quiet, lots of room to gather, nice pool, jacuzzi. A block from State Street, fairly easy access to downtown. We loved it!

Wonderful, family-oriented property

We had an amazing time on the property. There were things for all ages to do, and privacy for multiple families to stay. There were beach toys that made for a lot of fun when we ventured off-property, and multiple cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The communication and support from the property managers were great. Will absolutely stay again in the future.

Perfect for our family reunion!!

This was a wonderful house with great amenities for a large group. Lots of room to get together and make community meals. The grill was super clean! Plenty of space so people could be together or be alone if they wanted. The pool was perfect! We would definitely rent again!!

Great girls trip

This property was fantastic for a bigger group. So many rooms and variety of places to lounge and play games and be together as a group. The pool and hot tub were fantastic! We loved sitting by the fire in the evening. The location of this property is great to explore Santa Barbara as well as wineries towards Solvang. Great stay!

Milestone Birthday Celebration

Despite our stay occurring during the middle of winter, this property’s amenities overcame the obstacle of weather! The heated pool, hot tub and fire pit were hits! And we loved having badminton, ping pong and bocce ball to play.The spaciousness of the 2 living units made it so easy for everyone to spread out while also giving us variety of lounge space to gather as groups.

We had a great time at this property. The home is well stocked and perfect for all ages. We spent afternoons and evenings enjoying the pool and yard games. Beautiful home

This home is everything the listing says. There was so much room for 10 of us to spread out and so much to do with pool, hot tub, badminton and ping pong. We gathered in the second home and did all our cooking there. The house is so well stocked! Great location to get anywhere in Santa Barbara.

Great Family Compound

We had two extended families at the place. One couple, had their daughters family with 2 young children, The other couple had their daughter with two older children. We were each able to take a house. The pool/SPA were a big hit, as well the the badminton court, and Pinpong Table. Well Located within 10 min. to most places in SB.

Perfect for big family vacation

The property is exactly as shown in pictures. It was clean and well decorated and the pool area was perfect for our large group to hangout, sit by the pool, play cornhole and grill. But what makes this property stand out for me is how well appointed the kitchens were. We had a group of 8 people and chose to cook a few of the nights. It was amazing to have enough plates, glasses etc. for all of us to eat. On top of that the house had serving platters, salad bowls, grilling tools, spices, etc that made cooking so easy and convenient. The pool and hot tub were always warm and easy to use. Overall, they thought of everything to make this the best and easiest stay so we were able to relax together and not worry about the small stuff!

Celebrating 25 Years Book Group

We loved the ample seating arrangements: breakfast in the main house and lunch in the middle house or around the pool. We had three friends who got a one-day stomach virus at different times who drank coffee made with the tap water. We felt most comfortable drinking bottled-water, because we were unsure about the tap water or the filter-cleaning process on the filtered water. The house and location are great. We went on a whale trip, a trip to Solvang, and a docent tour of Lotusland. The weather was close to perfect. Java Junction is very convenient, delicious food, and very busy. We are thinking about coming again in the future. Thank you for your personal introduction to the house and the quick turnaround for a highly-sought home.

Thanksgiving at Los Arboles Ranch

Things got off to a poor start when a property manager called me as I was about a half an hour away and told me that he had checked everything, and all was in working order. When we arrived, and one of our grandchildren wanted to use the hot tub, we discovered that that the water temperature was in the sixty degree range and that the unit was inoperable. Our check-in was on Sunday. The unit was finally repaired by Wednesday. Other problems included: Leaking gas in the front left burner of the second kitchen. Foul smell in one of the bathrooms of the main house. Broken ice makers in both refrigerators A large bed room was inadequately heated by a very small plug-in heater. The adjoining bathroom had no heat whatsoever. The oven door in kitchen #2 did not close completely. The coded door lock on the front door refused to operate, even though we bought new batteries for the mechanism. In spite of these problems. we praise the owner for including so many dishes, glasses, utensils , cooking accessories, which made preparing a Thanksgiving feast for nine as easy as possible. The games provided were wonderful with lots of extra ping pong balls, beach towels, shuttle cocks, etc., to keep things moving. The fir pit and living room fireplace were a big hit. Only one of our grandchildren was brave enough to go swimming in the pool, but I have no idea what the temperature was. In sum, our overall experience was a good one, but for the price paid, we expected more careful inspection.

The property was so spacious, and the kitchens well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing games at the big table. We had an impromptu concert singing Christmas carols in the pool house! Everyone said the beds were really comfortable. For the walkers and runners in the group, the local trails were so nice. Thank you for a lovely holiday family reunion!

What a beautiful place! For a group of friends, this place feels perfect - the pool, hot tub, the little badminton court, the ample outside seating is all quite perfect. Rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable.If there was one thing to note, it's that the equipment and building is a little older - we couldn't quite get the BBQ to work, for instance - but I think the place is still amazing value. Would come back any time!
