West Beach Inn was absolutely wonderful! Great ocean front location within walking distance of the beach and downtown, comfortable rooms, complimentary breakfast and nightly wine and cheese happy hour, sparkling pool and hot tub and lovely grounds- everything exceeded our expectations. Best of all- the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here on our way from solvang and decided to stay a night in SB. Walking distance to local restaurants , harbour and wharf . We enjoyed the spa and the welcome wine and cheese was a nice touch.. check in was easy, the property was well maintained and the rooms were comfortable . If you are looking for a nice place to stay and not spend too much this was it .

We can see the bay from our room. Room is very spacious and comfortable. The staff it was really nice. The breakfast bar was tasty and clean. The pool was a little cold.But the hot tub was great. Location to walking distance to the wharf and several places was perfect.

We had a room with a harbour view which was worth every penny, as we watched the sun come up over the bay. There was so much going on at the harbour early on a Saturday morning. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 for facilities was because there weren’t any tea or coffee making facilities in the room, we had to cross over to the reception which was a bit of a trek, although refreshments were available at any time. The staff were lovely. The continental breakfast was good, we had everything we needed. Location was great, just a 5-10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. We took a walk along the harbour wall where you could buy fresh fish, crabs, sea urchins, etc. Great coffee shop next to the museum at the harbour. We walked to Sterns Wharf and had a great lunch at the Harbour Restaurant. Lovely view too.
